Finglas to Howth Summit 2026 In Aid Of Finglas Su***de Prevention Network.
I just want to say a big well done to all the runners, walkers, and cyclists for the hard work that's gone into our training over the past few weeks. I couldn't be more proud of the progress everyone has made, and the community spirit that's has been shown by everyone on the Tuesday, Thursday, and weekend runs ๐
I also want to thank everyone who has donated so far ๐the FSN is a vital service to our community and is in much need of funds and support. For anyone who would like to donate, the fundraising link is in my bio ๐

We're looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Please take a moment to read these important reminders:
๐ถ๐ถโโ๏ธWalkers: Meet at 8a.m. Start at 8:30 a.m.
๐๐โโ๏ธRunners: Meet at 10a.m. Start at 10:30 a.m.
๐ง Bring plenty of water and make use of the hydration stations along the route.
๐๏ธ Please do not litter. Use the bins provided at each hydration station and help keep the route clean.
โ๏ธ The weather is expected to be warm, so don't forget to apply sunscreen before we set off.

Finglas To Howth Summit 2026 In Aid Of Finglas Su***de Network.
Walkers 18.5km Route ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ
Meeting at F**T Gym in Finglas Village at 8.15am.
Route Breakdown:
1. Starting from the car park at Permanent TSB at 8.30 am, heading up Ballygall Road (the road at the back of the church), take the left and then the right at St Caniceโs boys school.
2. Continue straight up Glasnevin Avenue past the Autobahn pub.
3. We'll be heading straight down Collins Avenue, and on this road, we'll pass DCU, Whitehall Bingo Hall, and Donnycarney Church.
4. When we reach the Beachcomber pub, we'll turn left. We'll have this left turn sign posted.
5. Head straight on, and we'll pass two garages. First is an Applegreen on the right. The second is Top Oil Raheny on the left. We'll take the next right after the top oil garage at St. Anne's Park. We'll have this right turn sign posted.
6. Weโll then follow the park around. The park will always be on your right. Weโll come to a roundabout at the end of this road. Weโll take the right again, keeping the park on your right hand-side. We'll have this right turn sign posted.
7. Weโll have a refuelling station set up at the end of this on road at the causeway road bull island junction. Keep an eye out as they'll have first aid equipment, water, Lucozade Sport, and jellies. This road will lead us back onto the coast road. We'll have this left turn sign posted.
8. At the end of the coast road weโll come to a set of lights, and weโll take the right turn at the Marine hotel and head straight on up this road. We'll have this right turn sign posted.
9. The route will finish in the summit carpark, so take the right turn just at the summit pub and head up to the carpark. We'll have this right turn sign posted.

Parking:
Please ask our supporters to park in the Carrickbrack Road Car Park 500 metres from the Summit Inn Pub - https://maps.app.goo.gl/U13jkrcZLamVfx57A
Its free parking and its just a 5 mins walk up to the pub / summit finish line.
Health & Safety:
The Finglas Responders team will be looking after all of our first aid needs on Saturday.
We'll have a first aider and an ambulance to follow behind the group.
Bag Drop & Collection:
We'll have a van to bring bags from the gym to Howth Summit. Just bring your bag with you on Saturday morning. All bags will go in the same van and will be waiting and ready for you to collect at the finish line.
Tom Griffin Sports Therapists will be available at the finish line to provide assistance to any participants who may require it โ๏ธ
Transport Back To Finglas:
We'll have two buses heading back to finglas from the summit pub. First buses leave at 2.30 pm. If needed we'll do a second trip leaving at 3.30pm. NO food or drink on the bus. โฌ5 per person to be paid on Saturday. All proceeds going to the charity.
At the start line Dj Calum Kieran will be banging out the tunes and getting the runners hyped up for the 21kms ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Prism Visuals will be back again this year to capture the day for the walkers, runners, and cyclists ๐ธ
At the finish line Jordans kitchen will have his tasty protein oats, the no filter cafe have kingly provided sandwiches and The Bright Side Baker will have treats to help the runners and walkers refuel. Thanks for the support folks ๐
Post Run Refreshments:
Our plan for after the run is too soak up the atmosphere at the finish line before heading back to the Full Shilling in Finglas Village for a 5pm start. RNL Club nights djs Robbie Dixon, Liam Kieran & Niall Regan will be looking after the tunes for the night. We hope all participants will join us for a great night.

Finglas To Howth Summit 2026 In Aid Of Finglas Su***de Network.
Runners & Cyclists 21km Route :
Meeting at F**T Gym in Finglas Village at 10 am.
Route Breakdown:
1. Starting from the car park at permanent tsb at 10.30am we'll head up the ballygall road west (the road at the back of the church) and then take the right turn at the top of the road to head down glasanaon road.
2. When we pass tanseys shop, we'll take a right and head down past the Quarry pub (Ballygall Road East). We'll have this right turn sign posted.
3. At the end of Ballygall Road East, we'll turn left and head down past Tolka Rovers clubhouse. We'll have this left turn sign posted. Continue straight through the junction after Tolka Rovers onto Griffith Avenue.
4. Weโll be running the full length of Griffith Avenue, and at the end of Griffith Avenue weโll have the first water & refuelling station. Take the right turn onto the Malahide Road. We'll have this right turn sign posted. At the end of the Malahide Road weโll take the left onto the Clontarf Road. We'll have this left turn sign posted.
5. Fairview Park will be on our right, then weโll continue straight on past Westwood gym, past Clontarf Dart Station, and continue to run the full length of the coast road.
6. At the Baths Restaurant, will be the second water and refuelling station. Additionally, toilets are available at the Circle K garage, located approximately 1 km beyond the Baths Restaurant.
7. Further up the coast road at the causeway road bull island junction, the main water & refuelling station will be set up. Keep an eye out as they'll have first aid equipment, a water station with bottled water, Lucozade Sport, and jellies for us to grab as we run by.
8. At the end of the coast road weโll come to a set of lights and weโll take the right turn at the Marine hotel and head straight on up this road (This is where the incline starts โฐ๏ธ๐
). We'll have this right turn sign posted.
8. Just after the graveyard, we'll have 3 more safety cars and refuelling stations set up to help us up the hill to the summit.
9. The route will finish in the summit carpark, so take the right turn just at the summit pub and head up to the carpark ๐. We'll have this right turn sign posted.
