Surrounded by several larger clubs in our catchment area, we take pride in offering a more personal small club experience. Our modest team sizes and close-knit environment create a space where members are known, supported, and offers greater opportunities to play! U8 Girls

Well done to all of our U8 girls who had lots of fun and are really improving their skills. Special mention to the player of the week Keanna who was superb on Sunday morning. The girls are great team players and beat the coaches and parents in the tug of war again. Keep up the practice.

U10 Girls

We went out to Ballybunion by the sea for round 3 of the go-games, where we played 3 pulsating games against Beale, Firies and Churchill. Our girls showed great enthusiasm and tenacity and a fine appreciation of the skills and qualities of our national game. Thank you to St Pats Sean Hayes who stepped in as coach. Thank you to Beale for hosting us.

U12 Girls

Well done to the girls, outstanding work, great performances all around. We hope you all enjoyed it and are looking forward to the big game on Monday evening away to Kerins O’Rahillys. Well done again girls. Thank you to Cordal for hosting us.

U13

Our U13’s take part in the U13 Rose of Tralee Cup; this competition has 16 teams taking part takes place in Ballyrickard on Saturday 15th of August at 10.30am. With finals taking place in Na Gaeil at 2.45pm.

U14 Boys

St Pats U14s travelled to Annascaul/Lispole last Tuesday night for what proved to be a very tight and competitive contest. For three quarters of the game, St Pats produced some excellent football and went toe-to-toe with a strong home side before eventually running out of steam in the closing stages. There was little between the teams in an entertaining first half. St Pats carried a real goal threat and took some excellent scores, while Annascaul/Lispole kept the scoreboard moving consistently at the other end. At the break it was all square: Half Time: St Pats 4-4 Annascaul/Lispole 2-10

St Pats continued to battle strongly after the restart and remained right in the contest for much of the second half. AJ Turner was excellent in goals and produced one of the moments of the game with a superb penalty save. In front of him, Thomas Higgins, Bruce McMillan, and Eoin McMillan worked tirelessly against a dangerous attack. Fionn Lyons brought his usual bravery and determination, while Darragh Murphy was superb, driving the team on throughout. Noah Fealy also worked extremely hard and gave the side plenty of energy. At midfield, Leo Paczuski and Conor Sharpe faced a huge challenge and put in a serious shift for the team. Further forward, Darragh Flahive linked the play intelligently, Rylan Flynn remained a constant threat and Oscar Curran caused plenty of problems whenever St Pats moved the ball quickly.

Darragh Sheehan brought his usual work rate and determination, while Noah Flynn worked hard for the team inside. Cillian Enright produced his best performance of the year so far. He scored freely, competed for everything, and added a real physicality to his game in an excellent all-round display. As the game entered its final stages, the huge effort began to take its toll. Annascaul/Lispole finished the stronger and pulled away on the scoreboard, a margin that didn't reflect just how competitive the game had been for so long. Paddy Costello, Aaron Costello, James O'Riordan, and Seán Andreuccetti all contributed from the bench and played their part in another committed team performance. Full Time: St Pats 5-8 Annascaul/Lispole 3-21

Plenty of positives despite the result. To play at that level for three quarters of the game shows what this group is capable of; the challenge now is to sustain it right to the final whistle.

Our final match is against Ardfert on Tuesday 11th of August at 6.45pm in Blennerville.

🏐 Premier Junior Championship – Match Day Parking 🏐

St Pat’s GAA will host the Premier Junior Championship match between Ardfert and Annascaul this Sunday, 9th August at 12:30pm.

We look forward to welcoming both teams, management and supporters to Blennerville. As parking is limited, we ask everyone attending to please follow the match-day parking arrangements shown on the map. Stewards will be on hand to assist.

Players & management: Please carpool where possible, as parking within the club grounds is limited. This area is marked RED on the map.

Supporters: An overflow car park will be available in the adjoining field, marked WHITE on the map.

If the overflow field reaches capacity, the next available parking option will be the Windmill Car Park.

Please follow the directions of our stewards and park responsibly to help keep traffic moving safely.

Best of luck to Ardfert and Annascaul, and we hope everyone enjoys the game!

St Pats hosted another Under 8 blitz on Thursday evening with Na Gaeil, Moyvane, Cordal and Rathmore all visiting us. We were delighted to field 2 teams of under 8 girls who played fantastically against tough opposition. Well done to both girls who worked really hard in their teams & used the skills they had practiced to win trophies for their efforts this week.
Thanks to great team effort from all the coaches for a successful blitz!
