From the bottom of our hearts ▶️ thank you to everyone who supported our charity tournament.

Some people helped financially, some prepared amazing cakes and other treats, others took care of the trophies for the winners.
Thanks to the kindness of many people, we also had a place where this event could happen and where the whole community could come together.

Many people also helped privately ➡️ baking, serving guests and supporting the event all day long. 🙏🍰☕
This was a charity event, and every single form of help truly mattered.

We have great news for you!

Sunday is coming, and that means our charity tournament is almost here.
Have you been thinking about what to eat during the event?
No idea? No worries anymore!

Thanks to the Mayor of Súðavík and Ljuffengur Restaurant, you will have a chance to try traditional Polish food, such as:

✅ Red beetroot soup ( barszcz czerwony z krokietem )

✅ Sour rye soup ( Żurek )

✅ Polish hunter’s stew ( Bigos )

✅ For kids: crepes with cottage cheese and blueberries🙂 ( nalesniki )

There will also be a sweet corner for all dessert lovers! 🍰🥧
Thanks to many amazing people who decided to help and bake sweet treats, we are happy to share these delicious goodies with you.

And of course, we didn’t forget about the kids!
There will be face painting, so the youngest guests can have fun too 🎨

CHARITY FUTSAL TOURNAMENT FOR GUNNAR 🤍❗️

This is a special announcement.

We are a football community that has organized charity tournaments many times before to help people in need. This time, we are organizing a special charity tournament dedicated entirely to Gunnar Ingi Hákonarson, a young athlete from Ísafjörður who was seriously injured in an accident this autumn and is now going through a long and difficult rehabilitation.

👉 The tournament will take place on 25 January 2026 and is organized only to support Gunnar and his family.
All money collected during the event will be used to help Gunnar and his family.

💙 How the tournament will work:

▪️Team entry fee: 10,000 ISK
( Teams who wish to donate more than 10,000 ISK are welcome )
All entry fees and all money collected during the tournament, including cake and bake sales, will go directly to Gunnar and his family

🍰 During the tournament, we will sell homemade cakes and baked goods.
100% of the money from the sales will be donated.

🤝 We are looking for people who would like to help:
anyone who wants to bake cakes or other homemade food,
anyone with other ideas to help raise funds,
anyone who wants to support this cause in any way.

ℹ️ Important information:
For people who cannot join the tournament but still want to help, there is an active fundraising account run by Gunnar’s family.
Our tournament fundraising will be a separate collection, but all the money goes to the same goal — helping Gunnar and his family.
