Futsal Namibia would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Robert Shimooshili on his election to the Executive Committee of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations during the 2026 Elective General Assembly held in Harare.
This achievement marks a proud and significant milestone for Namibian football at regional level and reflects the confidence placed in his leadership and vision for the growth of the sport.
We are confident that his appointment will contribute positively to the advancement and development of football across the Southern African region, including the continued growth of futsal in Namibia.

🚨 𝗡𝗙𝗔 𝗖𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞..The 2025/2026 season will conclude with the NFA Cup for both men and women’s league.

• The NFA Cup winner will qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup 2026/2027 season joining African Stars FC who already qualified for CAF champions league for winning the league.

Competition Structure

▪️𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀: Third Division Streams and Women’s Regional Leagues will play knockout competitions. Each winner will receive a cash prize.
▪️ 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Knockout competition with winners proceeding to the competition proper. From the 14 regional winners, two will play a play-off to join the other 12 regional winner teams.
▪️ 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: Knockout competition with winners advancing to the competition proper.
▪️ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿: 32 teams comprising 16 Premier League clubs, 3 First Division winners, and 13 Second Division winners.
▪️ 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗹: Direct entry into the competition proper.
▪️ 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲: Direct entry into the competition proper.
▪️ 𝗖𝗔𝗙 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽: The NFA Cup winner will qualify to participate.

Namibia’s AFCON journey comes to an end

Lybia beat Namibia 8-1 in the second leg to advance to the CAF AFCON 2026 qualifiers in April.

The eight qualified countries are Morocco (host), Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia.
