Our Central Otago Men’s team put on a massive performance over the weekend at the Ian Smith Tournament in Ashburton.
The boys left everything on the field, racking up a fantastic run to the finals with 2 wins and a draw, before ultimately falling short in a tough grand final battle against the hosts, Mid Canterbury.

A massive shoutout to the five Central Otago players who caught the selectors' eyes and were named in the official Tournament Team:
Cohen Hoskins
Sam Fitzgerald
Flynn Wilson
Angus Drinnan
Ben Pilet
Extra Congratulations to Flynn Wilson, who was named U21 Player of the Tournament! An incredible achievement, Flynn!

The tournament may be over, but the countdown officially begins. We are thrilled to announce that Central Otago will be hosting the Ian Smith Tournament in 2027!
We can't wait to bring the action to our home turf and welcome everyone to our backyard. Watch this space!
