🎾 What a weekend of Tennis for our Masters Tournament! 🎾

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our tournament such a great success.

We had an awesome turnout with 106 players competing across Saturday and Sunday; it was fantastic to see the club buzzing all weekend.

Thank you to all our club members who jumped in to help wherever needed, whether it was setting up, packing down, helping in the kitchen, or just making sure things ran smoothly throughout the weekend.

A very special thank you to Debbie, who did an amazing job assisting with getting matches on when there were available courts. Your dedication over the entire weekend was so appreciated by all.

🎾 Aoraki Open 2026: Timaru’s Premier Tennis Showcase Returns! 🎾

Get ready, Timaru! The Aoraki Open is back and bigger than ever, promising a weekend of thrilling tennis action, community spirit, and unforgettable experiences.

When: Friday 15th afternoon only in a draw with more than 24 players, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026.

Where: Trust Aoraki Tennis Centre, 27 Benvenue Ave 7988 Timaru, South Canterbury

Open Event: MS (men’s singles), WS (women’s singles), MD (men’s doubles), WD (women’s doubles) and XD (mixed doubles).

You can ONLY enter 2 events.

Cash prizes for MS, WS, MD and WD winners and finalists. Great vouchers/prizes for consolation winners and mixed doubles.

All main draw matches will be 2 tie-break sets and a third set a super tie-breaker. All Consolation matches will have a short set of 4 games per set and a third set a super tie-breaker.

Open is for players of any age.
