A rather wintery opening day at SGSC today with 4 brave souls taking to the water.
Official Opening carried out by our new Vice Commodore Nicola Jennings and Patron Dalkeith Henderson .
Thanks to Nick Palleson for visiting all the way from Lake Mahinapua Aquatic Club Hokitika.

Winter race Cancelled today due to the gusty Nor West winds.
Thanks to Glen and Roy for making the tough but safest decision to abandon racing.
