Elevate your paddling and unlock the strength in your technique, the power in your body and the mindset that lifts your performance — this 12‑week programme is for you.
The Paddler Level‑Up Programme is a 12‑week online journey designed to lift your technique, awareness and performance on and off the water. After 25 years of paddling, coaching and winning world titles, I’ve learnt that real progress comes from understanding your body, your technique and how to train with intention. This programme brings that knowledge directly to you.
Here is a glimpse of SESSION 3 where we talk about what is the right length paddle for you to use
Across 12 modules you’ll learn body mechanics, technique foundations, power development, balance, sprint and endurance training, OC1/V1 skills, team paddling, race preparation, programme design and athlete wellbeing. You’ll also learn my Vesna OAR Framework for Paddling — Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility — the mindset that shapes grounded, confident, high‑performing paddlers.
We meet live every third week online Zoom, and all sessions are recorded.
Start date: 1 July
Session dates: All Sundays - 5 July, 18 July, 9 August, 30 August, 20 September.
Each session runs for 2 hours each where we introduces three modules, followed by three weeks to complete your workbook tasks, reflections and actions. You can also book a 1‑on‑1 with me during each block to ask questions, get feedback and make sure you’re applying the modules correctly to your paddling.
Investment: US$300 (can be paid in installments)
Limited to only 12 spots available
This programme is for paddlers who want to refine their technique, build confidence, improve performance and train smarter, not harder. It’s for paddlers who want long‑term growth, clarity and the tools to keep improving long after the 12 weeks are complete.
Move better. Paddle smarter. Build the foundations that create real performance.

"A wonderful opportunity to improve paddling performance and connect with other like minded paddlers"
That’s what a paddler wrote after attending one of my Paddle Camps — and it captures exactly what makes these camps special. Every year, paddlers arrive with different goals, different strengths and different levels of experience, but they all leave with the same thing: real progress, renewed confidence and a deeper connection to the sport and the people in it.
The 2027 Paddle Camps are built for paddlers who want to grow — not just in technique, but in understanding, awareness and belief in what they’re capable of. You’ll train in an environment that encourages curiosity, supports your learning style and gives you the space to explore your movement while being guided with clarity and purpose. You’ll meet paddlers from across Aotearoa and around the world who share the same drive to learn, improve and be part of something bigger than themselves.
These camps are designed to challenge you in the right ways, strengthen your foundations and give you tools you can use long after the camp ends. If you’re looking for a place where you can push your limits, ask questions, refine your stroke and feel genuinely supported through the process, this is it.
If you want to experience this for yourself, get more information by visiting WORKSHOPS on my website or email me at [email protected].
Spots are limited and these camps fill quickly every year.
If 2027 is your year to grow, connect and step into your next level, I’d love to see you there.

Every fortnight we share a free paddle session for paddlers — built by paddlers, for paddlers. Training isn’t just about distance or effort. The real difference in racing comes from technique. Your muscles adapt to what you repeat. Your brain learns the patterns you give it. When you build technique into your training programme, you build efficiency, speed and consistency that actually hold under pressure.
Too many paddlers train hard but not smart. Technique focus is what separates those who improve from those who stay stuck. When you repeat good movement, your body learns to move well automatically. When you repeat poor movement, your body locks that in too. That’s why every session needs intention — posture, timing, connection, breathing, exit, glide. These details are what win races.
Here is your free paddle session for this fortnight. Share it with your paddlers, your club and your training partners.
3 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 2–3
Technique focus: elbow inline with shoulder on entry
1 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 3–4 race pace
3 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 2–3
Technique focus: controlled breathing, strong posture
1 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 3–4 race pace
3 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 2–3
Technique focus: relax the paddle on the exit, let the canoe glide
1 km at 45–55 SPM, Zone 3–4 race pace
This session builds aerobic strength, race‑pace control and technical consistency. The more you train with intention, the more your body adapts — and the more your technique holds when fatigue hits.
If you want a structured programme designed by someone with proven success, credentials and world‑level results, visit my website to see my training programmes and online memberships. I can build the pathway to get you where you want to be.
Please share this session with others who would benefit.

A smile of a great day on the water. I didn’t realise at the finish the paddler I was battling with at the end was in the same division as me. Got me a 🥈 2nd by 2seconds.
Happy to be back in Tahiti and podium once again.
Thanks to the organisers, Linda, Baptise, VeHi and many more for all your support and help
Congratulations to everyone who got out there and raced, over 800 paddlers on the water this weekend.

Feel like your current training isn’t getting you where you want to be?
You’re putting in the hours, doing the work, showing up… but the progress just isn’t matching the effort. That’s usually not a motivation problem — it’s a clarity, technique and structure problem.
The 12‑Week Paddler Level‑Up Online Programme is designed to change that. This is a guided journey that helps you understand your technique, train with intention and finally build the foundations that create real, noticeable progress. If you want to move better, paddle smarter and feel more confident in every stroke, this programme will give you the tools to get there.
Across 12 modules we go into the key elements that shape strong, efficient, powerful paddlers: body mechanics, mindset, power, balance, sprint and endurance development, OC1 and V1 skills, team paddling, race preparation, training design and athlete wellbeing. You’ll learn the principles elite paddlers use — and how to apply them to your own paddling in a way that makes sense for your body and your goals.
You’ll get live Zoom sessions every third week (2 hours each), homework and reflection tasks, and a 1‑on‑1 catch‑up with me so I can understand your goals and support your development personally. This is not a generic programme — it’s structured, supported and designed to help you grow.
Almost half the spots are already filled, and there are only 12 spots available to keep the group small and focused. We start 1 July, and once the final spots are gone, the doors close.
If you’re tired of guessing, plateauing or feeling like you’re working hard without seeing the results you want, this programme will help you break through. You’ll finish with stronger technique, better body awareness, more confidence and a clear pathway to keep progressing long after the 12 weeks are done.
Your next level is waiting — all you need to do is step into it.

Aotearoa W1 Qualifiers 🇳🇿🌿🖤
Congratulations to the following W1 paddlers who have qualified from the 2026 Sprint Nationals to represent Aotearoa at the 2026 IVF Waka Ama World Sprint Championships in Singapore.
New division for me this year, M50. Might be going up a division, but the competition has definitely stepped up as well.
Again congratulations everyone!!

Back in 2011, this is where I spent time in training preparation for World Sprints 2012. This was made possible by and her partner.
It was a blessing to have this place to train, with gym, supermarket and paddling club Ihilani Va’a Club near by.
It was also some of the hardest times in my life, missing my family and everyone back home. I had a lot of alone time, but I know it was important for me to be there and it shaped me to become the person I am today.
Back then many people doubted that I could live in Tahiti, work, train and build a paddling success. This doubt gave me the determination and drive to show them that i could. And I did, I had the mindset to say “I can and I will.”
While I love travelling I and doing what I do, it does get lonely, but I am taking these times as opportunity to learn more about myself and the people around me. I remind myself I chose to do this, so take it as a learning, growth and appreciate what ever comes my way
Thanks all who were a part of this journey, it was hard, but probably the greatest time of leaning for my paddling and self
