A heartfelt and gracious thankyou to North Harbour Rugby Union representatives Cam Christie, Lotima Taufoou Faingaanuku and Madisson Mata'afā for joining us today for our Glenfield Junior Prizegiving.

It was an honour to have you with us, and we have huge respect and appreciation for each of you taking the time to celebrate our young players and Junior Club.

From representing Harbour, presenting awards, connecting with our tamariki and whānau, to stepping up and absolutely mastering the MC duties — you were a perfect team in harmony.

Your presence added something really special to our day, and our Glenfield Rugby Union & Sports Club community genuinely appreciate you all for your inspiration.

Thank you for giving your time, your energy and your support. It means more than you know.

Congratulations to our Bailey Cooper on his achievement of being named in the 2026 North Harbour Rugby Union U85s team! 👏🔥

Bailey joined the club three years ago and is one of the OGs of the U85s team, having been with us from the very beginning. To see his rugby journey continue to grow and reach this next level is something Glenfield is incredibly proud of. ❤️

Being one of our Vice Captains this past season, he lead by example both on and off the field and played a huge part in what was an unforgettable season.

Bailey's skill, versatility, determination and that awesome boot have made him such a valuable part of our whānau, and his selection is well-deserved recognition.

There’s plenty of representation in this Sunday’s North Harbour Knights vs Presidents XV fixture.

Alan Linstrom and Brett Ingram will take the field for the North Harbour Knights.

The Presidents XV also features Glenfield connections, with Martin Linstrom, Junior Melesala and Lui Pole named in the squad.

A great opportunity to see some familiar Glenfield faces involved in a special day for North Harbour Rugby.

FINAL MATCH FOR J2 2026 🎉

Finishing a successful season of on and off the field - developing rugby skills and enjoying what team sport is all about.

A wet and colder game than we’ve been used to this season meant more of a ball carrying day for most with Glenfield ahead 19-17 at half time.

A strong finish by a competitive Mahu side with a full bench made Glenfield dig deep producing an even and exciting game but seeing Glenfield come out just on top with a 33-31 final score. 🏆

Great season and well done to all the players, coaches, managers, supporters and special thanks to our ref Alamu for doing all of our home games.

🎉 FINAL GAME: U15 Girls Rippa

What a way to finish the year! 🏉🌧️

Our U15 girls played mahurangi_rfc at home in the rain, digging deep with zero subs by the second half to secure a brilliant 28-6 win.

To top off a massive season, this incredible group finished unbeaten all year!

They are a tight-knit squad who support each other, love the game, and leave everything on the field.

Thank you so much to Coach Leni for your amazing leadership and Carmel for your unwavering work. We couldn't be prouder of this squad—see you next season! 🏉✨

🏉❤️ FINAL GAME 2026 – GLENFIELD J7 ❤️🏉

J7 season is officially done! 🥹🏉

This weekend our Glenfield J7 took on Northcote Maroon at Northcote for our final game of an absolutely amazing and memorable season!

What a way to finish off the season with this awesome group. We have watched this team grow, develop, learn, challenge themselves and, most importantly, have plenty of fun along the way. 🏉🙌

As coaches, we feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this group in 2026 and could not be more proud of every single player. The effort, improvement, teamwork and sportsmanship they have shown throughout the season has been fantastic.

🏆 PLAYER OF THE DAY – MARCUS
👏 Fantastic support play all game and some awesome running. Marcus was always there to support his teammates and had a brilliant final game!

🏆 OPPOSITION PLAYER OF THE DAY – HARLYN
👏 An absolute rip machine with 8 rips and a try! What a performance!

🏆 COACHES AWARD – MATTY
👏 2 tries, listened to the coaches’ direction all game and put everything into his final game of the season. Awesome work, Matty!

A massive thank you to all of our players, parents, families and Glenfield Rugby Club for the support throughout 2026. ❤️

We couldn’t have asked for a better group to spend our Saturdays with. The early mornings, sideline laughs, muddy boots, big plays, celebrations and all the memories will definitely be missed! 🥹🏉

Now it’s time to put the boots away for a little while and celebrate what has been a fantastic 2026 season so we will see you all at Prize Giving! 🏆

We can’t wait to celebrate this awesome group, see you all again soon and bring on 2027! 🏉🔥
