My 5 Daily Non-Negotiables
1. Early wake up
Most week days it’s 4:20am wake up. Winning at the start of the day sets the tone for the rest of it. I wake up feeling successful
2. Relationships
Recently, me and Deborah Young are in the best shape we’ve been together. Growing together makes reaching goals that much easier
3. Movement (favourite part of day)
I strength train 5x per week and cardio 2x per week. Movement at the start of the day helps me feel accomplished
4. Nutrition
I’ve moved away from focusing on just calories and moved to eating more wholefoods. I’ve eaten more food, felt 10x better energy wise, and enjoy everything I eat. Easier with Optimum Nutrition AUS/NZ gold standard whey isolate 🤤
5. Time away from the hustle
Owning a business, you can get caught up in the hustle. Since catching up Kane Nepe Apatu and Tamati Samuels | Fat Loss Expert a few months ago back home, they helped me appreciate time you have to yourself. And from that, it’s helped me appreciate my life a little more

Oats vs Rice Cakes Pre-Workout ⚡️
If you’re training first thing in the morning
You need something you can eat that releases energy fast
Oats are great fuel BUT will slowly release energy and sit in your stomach
Opting for rice cakes first thing means you’re ready to use it right away ⚡️

How I stay consistent with my meal plan ✅
High fibre foods at the start of the day ✅
Fibre will reduce cravings later and create sustained energy release
That’s why I’m so against fasting to lose fat
You may reduce the eating window to a few hours per day
But if your energy is flat and you decide to everything in front of you…
You’re basically suffering for no reason 🤷🏽♂️
Meal prepping on Sunday ✅
The days I’m busy, my cravings can go crazy high
By having meals in the fridge ready to eat
It stops me reaching for food I shouldn’t be having
High volume foods ✅
Eating low volume and calorie dense foods are a quick way to make staying in a calorie deficit even harder
Wholefoods will keep you much fuller ☝🏽
Low calorie drinks ✅
I have sugar free energy drinks and coffee pretty regularly
And I have sparkling water to help me focus and hydrate while working
Ps. I had a monster for the first time a few days ago though and I had a massively upset gut
To think I could have a few monsters per day and be fine 🤷🏽♂️
Taste and look ✅
Most people determine whether they’ll eat something based on how it looks
If it doesn’t look good, you already don’t like it
Eat the same thing ✅
You don’t need to change your meal plan every day/ week
If anything, you shouldn’t need to change it for weeks/ months
You’re an adult.
“Ohhh this guy”
The moment that changed my whole belief around training
We would do some of the dumbest things for training
Training more sets or reps
Less or no rest
And it comes back to that “hard ass” mindset
There’s a time and a place for that
But if you’re goal is to look and perform your best
You should put that “hard ass” mindset into the stuff that gets you the result
That’s where my training changed forever

My $5k E-bike was stolen from me 😡
Then my package was stolen while I was away!!
But I had to let it go…
PS. If you see my bike let me know though 😂
