We wish Caleb Alexander the very best of luck as he heads away tomorrow to represent New Zealand at the Trans-Tasman Secondary Schools Squash Exchange!
School sport is about so much more than results β it builds confidence, resilience, friendships and memories that last a lifetime. This is an incredible opportunity for Caleb to challenge himself, meet players from across Australia and New Zealand, and be part of a proud squash tradition.
Australia and New Zealand have produced some of the greatest players in squash history, including multiple world champions and Hall of Fame members. Todayβs competitors follow in the footsteps of legends such as Heather McKay, Michelle Martin, Geoff Hunt, Susan Devoy and current world star Paul Coll, demonstrating the rich squash tradition shared by both nations. Perhaps one day, your name will be counted among them.
Caleb will join players from New Zealand, NSW and Queensland for a week of team competition, friendships and unforgettable experiences, culminating in the Australia v New Zealand test match.
Go well Caleb! Play hard, enjoy every moment, show great sportsmanship and make yourself, your school, HB Lawn, your country and your family proud

π³πΏCongratulations Caleb Alexander! π³πΏ
A massive congratulations to Caleb Alexander on being selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Team!
Caleb will head to Sydney later this month to represent New Zealand β an incredible achievement and one we are incredibly proud of at HB Lawn.
This year marks the 42nd year of the New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Championships, a competition that dates back to 1985.
And thereβs an extra special piece of history for HB Lawnβ¦
Back in 2017, three of our HB Lawn girls β Ally Harding, Jess Dean and Sam Harding β proudly represented New Zealand in the Secondary Schools team.
Now, 9 years later, Caleb becomes the FIRST male player from HB Lawn to be selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools team!
What an incredible achievement and a fantastic milestone for both Caleb and our club.
Congratulations Caleb β we are so proud of you!
Go well in Sydney and enjoy every minute of representing New Zealand!
HB Lawn history in the making.
