Hey Team, just a reminder no class tonight, we have a school commitment.

Am I great at live workouts? Fk No,
I'm clumsy, I might swear, I'm have rolls, thick thighs, wrinkles, grey hair, I talk s**t, muck up the timer, get distracted, but in all the chaos I know I do some pretty good workouts, as do my team, because we feel the burn, the struggle and the improvements too.

It's not always aesthetics or perfection, because as AI takes over the fitness space, you will only see asetically pleasing trainers, not people like me and you, that have the same problems we do, AI will never bring the chaos that brings the laughter, the smiles and the vibe, (ask last night's boxing class).

So remember just because some things looks pretty, or marketed well, does not mean its any better than what I provide in terms of the workouts. And if you are like me, head above water, but legs paddling like crazy navigating a perimenopausal, autoimmune conditions, Hypermobile, a Neurodiverse body and brain, then we might be just what you need.

At the end of the day it's about doing the Mahi, feeling better than when you started and moving on with your day, not the lighting, editing, or matching kit and makeup.

Bootiful Fitness is only $25 per month and offer a 14 day free trial, with an option to suit everyone, at any stage, new live or on demand workouts or an at home program to follow, and best of all you are not supporting some millionaire get even richer, you support a small business owner, the NZ tax system, our team and whanau's.

P.S This was Sprint Interval Training, it's really great for getting the heart pumping and improving fitness fast, and so good for boosting your mood.

P.P.S. If you got this far, feel free to give us a lazy like, comment or follow, or head to the website via our bio and sign yourself up.

Over the last few weeks I have had a few enquiries, and tagged a few times, and a couple of new followers, so I thought I would just leave this here, then if you have any questions or want to book in you have that option too.

I pride myself that there are options for most people especially around budgets, needs, location or lifestyle.

As we head into spring and summer classes tend to get a bit busier (and most are near capacity now) so the option to add extra is there if we end up needing to add some extras (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Keep a look out on more options too as I have been working on some cool things that will be releasing over the next few months.

P.S. No AI generated poster here, just pure me with my spelling mistakes, 100% me ;)

I think the thing that seperates Bootiful Fitness Online from all the other online platforms is that it's designed for real life, normalish people, and I create sessions for people with similar issues to me, like falling or clumsiness, which happens to me pretty regularly.

Trainer Tip Tuesday this week is about understanding our body, creating automatic reflexes and being independent enough to get up after a fall.

1. Your body and the surrounding environment - Being able to ground yourself, feel the spaces around you but also trust your body to catch you naturally so you are not relying on other things.

2. Reflexes - burpees are often a s**t exercise but they and modified versions are great for teaching your body to control a fall. Being strong enough to catch that fall is also important, so don't discount grip strength or building to the arms.

3. Independence after a fall - as a stubborn women, I am often embarrassed after falling, pride is hurt and I feel let down by my body yet again, and like many of you, picking ourselves up after an incident is important for our pride and at least having some pride. It's important to be strong to get up but also train for many different scenarios just incase you need it.

We don't have to just accept that we are clumsy or prone to falls, we can do something to build our bodies and proprioception up, it takes patience, repetition and understanding.

When filming a weights session the rest breaks are the hardest part for me, we need them so we can go again strong, but fk they are hard mentally when you just want to get it done.

So too anyone who has suffered with me, and had to actively rest......sorry for my let's do/talk other s**t in front of a live camera vibe.

In other business news it's pretty cool to be able to log these workouts in the app now.

Trainer Tip Tuesday

A hated exercise by many (often by me) especially if you have shoulder instability, but did you know, the glute Med has 100% activation if you can control the hold?

Sometimes we think we have go harry hard core and be on our feet, but if you do not have the strength through the core, shoulder and glutes, you are probably not going to be able to hold and get the activation where you need it.

1. Think line up my seams (imagine them if you are naked), keep shoulders, hips and knees in a straight line, knees bent at 90 degrees stop tilting the top pelvis forward.

2. Place elbow directly below shoulder, if on hands keep elbow soft.

3. Lift upper side waist or armpit and hip away from the floor, the take pressure off the floor.

4. Imagine a giant pole is impaled in your shoulders, hips and knees, you can only go straight up or down, so you cannot lean forward or backward.

5. To progress lift top knee up so its level with hip.

5. Progress to feet once you can comfortably hold and keep stable for over 20 seconds, but ensure the feet are also lined up.

Give it a whirl and for more logical cues and how too's for our bendy peeps, follow along for more.

I don't know about you, but people sharing how much they are making off likes and s**t is getting ridiculous, or continuing to ask for $$ to pay off debt, they put themselves in is cringe.

I mean I have f**k all following so no one will see this but just in case here's a list of what I would like to spend the 'socials' $$$ on. Since lotto didn't come through for me, you can only ask đŸ˜‰

1. Upgrading the gym equipment.
2. Create a fund in (NZ) for women who need access to Pelvic Floor rehab after birth, especially those with complex issues.
