🏆 A Very Special Addition to Waihi Beach Bowling Club 🏆
Today was a very special day at Waihi Beach Bowling Club, as we proudly unveiled a wonderful piece of New Zealand bowls history.
The club has been presented with a shirt belonging to Selena Goddard, proudly signed by many great bowlers. Selena our New Zealand bowler was named number 1 in the world in 2025, among her many outstanding achievements and accolades in the sport.
Selena’s Mum and Dad are proud members of Waihi Beach Bowling Club, and we are absolutely delighted to share in their pride in their daughter and all that she has achieved. ❤️💚
The shirt has been beautifully framed and proudly displayed in our club, where members and visitors can admire it and appreciate the incredible journey and achievements of one of New Zealand’s finest female bowlers.
Today, Selena’s Mum had the special honour of cutting the ribbon to officially unveil the framed shirt. It was a very proud and memorable moment for her, her family and our club.
We are incredibly proud to have this special piece of Selena’s bowling journey hanging in our club and look forward to seeing it admired for many years to come.
