Martinborough Golf Club

Martinborough Golf Club Est over 100 yrs ago, our Golf course boasts mature trees, well-kept greens and is an 18 hole (par 72) course which is 5546m in length.

Our new clubhouse offers superb views, outdoor seating, and a delicious bar menu on offer every day. Our gorgeous 18 Hole Golf Course welcomes all affiliated and non-affiliated players. Check our website for regular events that you can join in on. Our clubhouse is under construction but we have fabulous (and fun) temporary facilities. If you would like to support our (enormous) fund raising efforts then donations can be made to: Martinborough Golf Club Inc – Clubhouse Fundraising account: 01-0671-0004467-050

As we are a charity we can issue you a tax deduction receipt, so you can claim 1/3 back from the IRD! Just email the office who will be happy to help.

What a day to hand out Davis Lester fine cashmere scarves for top prizes - the temp struggled to hit double digits all day, but that didn’t stop some pretty impressive scores:

Best gross (82) Caroline Lamb & Yuriko Manabe from Shandon Golf Club
Best Net (66) Sue Green & Maria Kalasih from Kapiti Golf Club
Best Stableford (43) Patricia Dyde & Julia Deeley

Thanks to Davis Lester Clarke for sponsoring so generously, thanks to the amazing morning tea creators, the raffle prize providers, and Sandra Petersen for organizing.

Fabulous day, despite the chill, hail, and wet ground - rewarded by exceptionally warm hospitality from the MGC Team 💚🖤

THIS SUNDAY'S NEW TO GOLF AMBROSE IS CANCELLED!

The forecast is awful, so we have made the tough call to cancel - we will be back with another event soon.

(Meantime: a reminder that we have "Nine & Wine" on a Wednesday afternoon which is aimed at those wanting a casual game, no competition, just be here by 1:30 and organise your selves into groups. We have tee slots aside JUST FOR YOU!)

Some say you shouldn’t play Foursomes with your spouse - but the winners ALL proved that wrong today - Honor & Doug Clark took out the AB Martin Cup today with a net 71; Mark & Julie Gray snapped second place with a net 73; Jenny and Tora Boyne were 3rd with 73 also; and Kris & Mark Mason took out 4th place with 75 - great work everyone.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Martin Family descendants who come year after year to support this comp, share their history, and donate wine to the prize pool. How lucky are we to have that heritage.
