Golf course is CLOSED today, as per Council's closure of all public service sites until the 22nd.

On Wednesday evenings through February and March, one of our club members, Danny Rangihuna, has been providing coaching to some of Mornington's women golfers. I know everyone who participated has picked up some valuable tips that have helped improve their golf. A BIG THANKS to Danny

Last Thursday, participants in this year's New Player Programme put their new-found skills to the test in an on-course tournament. This was the final session of the programme, following seven weeks of coaching and training at the course. 28 players participated in this year's programme and we look forward to supporting and encouraging these new golfers in their golfing journey. Also a special congratulations to Mary who was recently named as a finalist in the NZ Golf Awards for her contribution to Women's Golf

A great day at Mornington Golf Club yesterday - the Mornington Classic. Great weather, a great turn out, prizes for everyone, a great lunch and some great golf.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this tournament.

In February, the Royal Wellington Golf Club hosted the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific tournament. Three of our members (Val, Sue and Maree) took part in the 'She Loves Golf' 6 Hole Challenge. This was a chance to play a short, social format with people from other club and provided them with the opportunity to be part of a unique experience at the Royal Wellington Golf Club.

Val and Sue took out the win alongside 2 Boulcotts Farm Golf Club members! Well done!

They all had a great day with plenty of opportunity to follow some of the women playing in the tournament and to pick up some tips!
