Here is a post I don't like to make
While playing yesterday morning one of our younger members walking down number 8 slipped and badly hurt his leg.
By chance a paramedic was at the course and helped out until his on-duty colleagues arrived in the work vehicle.
This was followed by a ride in the ambulance, a wait at A&E and now a wait for an operation in a month or so.
Obviously this also means no golf for a while.
The moral of this story, PLEASE WEAR GOLF SHOES, especially at this time of year. We don't want any more ambulance visits.

If you were wondering what ever happened to that Ultra Distance ball that you hit into the Blue Spruce trees between the 5th and 6th fairways - we found it.
As my tree growth ring reading skills are a bit lacking, I have no idea how long it was there and we did nick it with a chainsaw so you wouldn't want to putt with it anymore.
Oddly enough, while we getting ready to start sawing, this very phenomenon came up conversation.
