It’s that time of year when we need to make a little room in our little store for all the springtime arrivals.

Loads of bikes are greatly reduced and ready to ride out the door.

So, if you have friends who are ready to join the bike gang, give them a shout - or come on in and grab yourself a deal!

The sale starts now and runs until 31 August.

Bikes creating more core memories ✨🤝

Lake, Kiki 🐶, and friends discovering new playgrounds that are now just a bike ride away.

Te Ara Tupua has turned Wellington into one big cycling playground. Day trips with the whānau, playground stops, beach missions, high fives, and the freedom to explore somewhere new on two wheels.

How lucky are we!

Huge thanks to Marianne for letting us share this special day. If you've got your own bike adventures or family moments, get in touch - we'd love to feature them.

Behold the Surly Ogre in its final boss form.

Custom built for Andy’s goal of taking on Tour Aotearoa next year, this custom Ogre is designed to handle long days, rough surfaces, heavy loads and whatever adventures come after.

The brief was comfort, reliability and low-maintenance rise and grind touring. In Andy's own words, a bike with grumpy pie-eater energy. So we went all in on the dependable stuff:

Ogre steel frameset
Speedhub
Son 29 dynamo front hub
Wheelworks custom wheelset
Jones H-Bar
Ergon grips
ShockStop suspension seatpost
Shimano XT 4-piston brakes
Vittoria Mezcal tyres
Brooks B17 saddle

A proper steel workhorse, built to be ridden loaded, ridden far, and ridden for years.

Thanks and for helping get this one across the line.

Best of the best sends off the Te Ara Tupua overpass from the bike rave. 🚲✨

This is what it’s all about 🚲🪩✨

Family, friends, new friends, young and old, bright bikes, fun outfits, and bangers all night courtesy of mexi fm. The Winter Solstice Bike Rave had it all and then some.

Huge thanks to everyone who came along and brought the energy🔥

Our highlights included raving along Te Ara Tupua, feeling the bridge bounce beneath our feet as we danced, making a massive bike whirlpool in the spotlight carpark, dancing on Parliament steps, and hearing the cheers as we rode down Cuba Street.

And big love for protected cycleways, public spaces, and this wonderful city and community that continue to turn simply riding a bike into something much bigger.

Same time next winter? Or perhaps something a little spookier before then... 🚲✨

We might be deep into winter, but summer bikes are already starting to take shape ✨

Two custom builds in the stands this week: a Mehteh, which will eventually be running a Fox 32 Taper-Cast suspension fork 🤩, and a Surly Ogre endurance build with a Rohloff hub and SON 29s dynamo, built into W:One rims by

Custom builds can take time. So if you’ve been dreaming about something fresh for the coming summer, now is a very good time to start the conversation.

Bikepacking rig, gravel machine, forever commuter, big trip bike, weird dream build. Come chat 🤝

🥳 New compact e-cargo bike on the Bicycle Junction lot.

The Cannondale Cargowagen Neo has rolled in and it’s got a lot of the things we like: Bosch Cargo Line motor system, powerful brakes, room for two kids and cargo, and a footprint that doesn’t feel much bigger than your usual one-kid cargo bike.

Perfect for kids, groceries, school bags, pets, hills, headwinds, all the usual Wellington things.

Take one for a spin.

PSA: Happening this Sunday - and it's looking like a stunner 🌞

Join us for a free, relaxed cruise around the bays, finishing with a BBQ picnic at Rongotai Skatepark. Bring the whānau, bring your mates.

First meet-up: 11am, Waitangi Park

We’ll stick to the coastal cycle lanes through to Evans Bay, stop at a few spots such as Cog Park in Hataitai, navigate Miramar, pop under the airport and land at Rongotai Skatepark for the BBQ picnic from 1230pm.

Good tunes, good company, cruisy Sunday pace.
