As we've said before, Sir Mr. Burns is arguably the most successful wrestler in CPW History.

As a former record-setting CPW Heavyweight Champion, and one half of the current CPW Tag Team Champions (also for a record-setting 2 years and counting), he went into Road to the Gold as one of the odds-on favourites of the entire CPW Heavyweight Title Tournament and hands-down Dusty Bridges toughest challenge to date.

But Dusty Bridges has been riding a wave of momentum himself, and after being screwed out of TWO CPW Heavyweight Title matches towards the end of last year, he showed that he is THE most determined wrestler on the CPW roster.

💥RAYJAY DID NOT ENJOY THEIR EVENING💥

Ray Gunn has won just about all there is to win in CPW over his career. However, the women of CPW have always been his kryptonite and unfortunately for him, at Road to the Gold it was no different.

With Grace Lightning unable to make it, Jay Marshal put a reluctant Ray Gunn up
as her replacement, which then led to Misty Kitana brutalising Ray (& Jay) in her hometown, the crowd pelting Ray with wet tea bags throughout.

While their partner in the GC3 Freddy Forde has been riding high as Legacy Cup Holder, Ray Gunn & Jay Marshal have fallen on tough times.

With Final Destination coming to Ray's hometown of Palmerston North, the GC3 are almost guaranteed to be up to something.

At Road to the Gold Just Jack fought for their life in a triple threat match against newcomers Joseph Cruz and the psychopath Pariah.

Once again CPW's resident underdog battled the odds.
Once again Jack found themselves on the receiving end of violence.
But once again Jack managed to survived without their shoulder's being pinned to the mat.

Sometimes Jack wins. Sometimes Jack loses.
But Just Jack seemingly cannot be pinned.

⚔️CHAOS REIGNS AT ROAD TO THE GOLD⚔️

At Road to The Gold, with CPW General Manager Bryant conspicuously absent, our opening contest set the stage for what was very much a night of "the inmates running the asylum".

The CPW debuts of Dean Vex and Max Wilde was interrupted by the arrival of The Viking Liam Erikson who, despite the match never officially getting underway, steamrolled through the rookies and forced the referee to count the 1, 2, 3.
