Pre-registrations for the Schools National MTB Championships close on 7 August.

Make sure your riders are entered and ready to race, head to your Sporty platform and complete registrations today.

ACM is running the 2026 Ngaumu Gravel Grind on Sunday 9th August 2026. This is a fun event (with a traditional competitive nature) riding on predominantly normally closed forest roads.

This course is a 20 km loop with 500m of climbing. Whether you are chasing a hard race effort or just keen for an epic day out on the bike, this event has something for everyone. The course features stunning scenery, flowing gravel roads, challenging climbs and rewarding descents. Gravel bikes, mountain bike and e-bikes are all welcome.

MARK DONALD AND GARY GIBSON RECOGNISED BY CNZ, ĀTI TOA WELLINGTON REGIONAL SPORTS AWARDS
Congratulations to PNP volunteers Mark Donald and Gary Gibson who were awarded this year's CNZ RTX Volunteer and Coach of the Year prizes for their tireless work supporting grassroots cycling.
Mark and Gary have also been nominated for the Āti Awa Toa Wellington Regional Sports Awards to be presented in late August.
Wellington based UCI commissaire Zac Prendergast was also nominated for the Official of the Year award
