Athletics is one of the oldest and most diverse sports, encompassing running, jumping, throwing, and walking events. 🏃‍♂️ Its roots trace back to the ancient Olympic Games in Greece, making it a timeless celebration of human endurance and skill. ⚡️

Modern athletics includes track and field, road running, cross country running, and race walking, governed internationally by World Athletics. 🌍 Whether sprinting on the track, soaring in the high jump, or competing in marathons, athletes show great determination and versatility. 🏃‍♀️✨

📝 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞:
✔️ Athletics covers individual and team events involving running, jumping, throwing, and walking.
✔️ Track and field events include sprints, hurdles, relays, long jump, high jump, and throws.
✔️ Road running consists of races such as 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon.
✔️ Cross country running takes place on natural terrain—grass, dirt, and trails.
✔️ Race walking is a unique discipline with strict technique rules requiring constant ground contact.
