📍 Poomsae: October 11, 2026
📍 Ninoy Aquino Stadium

Together with the Philippine Taekwondo Association, we continue to energize Filipino athletes on their journey from grassroots to greatness.

Parents, we are leaders.

Know your sons and daughters. Know their habits, their friends, their struggles, and the things that influence them.

Our responsibility is not only to provide for them, but also to guide them, teach them what is right, and help them grow into good, responsible, and contributing members of society.

Teach them discipline. Teach them respect. Teach them humility. Teach them to do the right thing even when no one is watching.

Our children are not only our responsibility—they are part of our legacy.

Raise them well. Guide them with love. Lead by example.

Because the values we teach them today will become part of the person they become tomorrow.

Being fast for the sake of being fast is not fight IQ.

Speed without timing, rhythm, and awareness of what is happening around is just mechanical speed.

The main idea here is Hyōshi (拍子), related to rhythm, timing, cadence, or the proper flow of an action.

Every fighter has a rhythm, your opponent has a rhythm as well; even the situation itself develops a rhythm.

The idea is to recognize all three and act at the right moment, when they align in your favor, or to disrupt your opponent’s rhythm and force them out of sync.
