This spring, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Douglas van Leeuwen and Lovisa Flodman to BSG for their master thesis project. 😊
 
Both Douglas and Lovisa are currently finishing their Master’s in Industrial Design Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, and during the spring semester they’ve been working closely with us and the Lagun brand. Their project focuses on exploring the needs and everyday experiences of camper and RV users through user studies and market research. Based on these insights, they will help drive the development of a new product concept or product family that could complement the Lagun range.
 
We’re excited to follow the final stages of the project and very grateful to have had Douglas and Lovisa with us over the past few months! 🙌🏼

Vi vill uppmärksamma våra kunder på att det finns en risk för klämskada vid gångjärnen när bad- och räddningsstegarna BUT125, BUT100, BUT75 och BUT48 fälls ner.

För att motverka detta har vi utvecklat ett klämskydd, som nu ingår som standard vid köp av dessa stegar.

Har du redan köpt någon av modellerna? Då skickar vi klämskydd och tillhörande lim kostnadsfritt till dig så att du enkelt kan montera det i efterhand.

Victor Strandh is our Product Owner at BSG and has been part of the team for three years. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers, he’s a key player in our development team.

Victor is closely involved in our product development — helping turn ideas, sketches and prototypes into reliable solutions that actually work. Around the office, he’s also great at keeping the mood up, often making the team smile with a good story or two.

Outside the office, Victor swaps CAD models for goal posts as the goalkeeper for Ahlafors IF. And when he’s not diving for saves on the football pitch, there’s a good chance he’s either playing golf or happily discussing his latest round.

We’re lucky to have you, Victor! 🙌

Fredrik Tobiasson has been part of the BSG Operations team for over six years — and chances are, you’ve already been in touch with him. 🤗

He handles invoicing, places orders, occasionally jumps in to help pack shipments, and supports our customers and distributors with the kind of reliability you can always count on. If you’ve called or emailed about an order, there’s a very good chance Fredrik was on the other end making sure everything was taken care of. Ask him to get something done, and it gets done — properly. No fuss, no shortcuts.

When does Fredrik thrive the most? Summers in Spain with a glass in hand, and quality time playing with his grandchildren. In a previous chapter of life, he was an outstanding hockey player. The skates may be on the shelf these days, but he’s still very much part of the sports talk around the office.

Marcus Oddhammar is our Sales Manager at BSG. His journey started 11 years ago in the warehouse at Båtsystem. Safe to say, he’s come a long way since then! 😊

These days, Marcus can talk about our products in his sleep, keeps our distributors and retailers happy, and if there’s a trade show somewhere in the world, there’s a good chance he’s already been there (or is packing his bags right now).

The team can always tell when his beloved Arsenal FC has had a good result the night before. And while only a select few colleagues have heard it, there are strong rumors of a hidden talent: Marcus can apparently sing really well (proof pending…). 😉
