Let's Take A Walk Let's Take A Walk is an endurance walking event 100% organised by volunteers of Raleigh Singapore. We are a 100% volunteer-run event!

Let's Take A Walk is organised by a small group of volunteers (from Raleigh Singapore) which comprises working professionals from diverse specialisations and undergraduates who are passionate about the cause – to organise a sporting event where proceeds collected will be donated to appointed beneficiaries, and used to support local and overseas community projects led by Raleigh Society. There are several categories for Let's Take A Walk, including a 10km JalanWalk, 50km PowerWalk and our signature 100km ExtremeWalk. The walks span the central and eastern part of Singapore and will incorporate many of the park connectors and new hotspots to ensure a scenic and safe walking journey. These three walks are specially designed to cater to the varied participants and their interests. Let's Take A Walk was first held on 31 December 1997 as an overnight, round-island endurance walk to raise funds for the Spastic Children Association of Singapore. The inaugural event saw 36 walkers who walked a distance of 130km in 36 hours and raised $36,000. In the following years, more walks were organised and the event has raised over S$150,000 for various beneficiaries including:
• Dover Park Hospice
• Singapore After Care Association
• SWAMI HOME
• Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS)
• HCA Hospice
• Caregivers Alliance Limited
• Rare Disorders Society (Singapore)
• Ray of Hope

Make other plans for November 2026! As a fully volunteer-run event, LTAW is taking a break this year for volunteers to rest and recharge.

Each edition, hundreds of volunteers spend hours a day, some overnight, to be checkpoint crew, safety drivers, logistics muscle, and more.

We're pleased to share that from LTAW 2025, we raised S$109,754, with part of the proceeds (minus expenses) going to our partner beneficiary Project Green Ribbon .

We'll be back for LTAW 2027 – our 30th year since the event began in 1997. An organising committee is already on the lookout for more sub-committee members to help make LTAW 2027 a big bash. 🥳

Meanwhile, free and easy community walks will continue in 2026. Stay tuned for more details!

How time flies! About this time two weeks ago, the LTAW volunteers were gearing up to set up the 60km Start Point at SAFRA Punggol – only to find the tables, chairs and stage backdrop all ready to go, set up by the good folks at SAFRA Punggol.
