Still confused about IN-TO-OUT vs OUT-TO-IN? 🏌️‍♂️ Here’s swing path explained in 30 seconds. 👇

Start with one simple reference: the target line.

For a right-handed golfer:

🟢 Inside = the golfer’s side of the target line
🔴 Outside = the opposite side

Once you understand that, swing path becomes much easier:

↗️ IN-TO-OUT — the club approaches from inside the target line and travels outward through impact.

↙️ OUT-TO-IN — the club approaches from outside the target line and travels back inside through impact.

Neither path tells the whole story by itself — clubface + swing path work together to determine your ball flight.

🎯 Not sure what YOUR club is doing through impact? Stop guessing. Come down for a lesson and let’s find out exactly what’s happening in your swing.

Still topping your irons? Stop trying to “lift” the ball into the air. 👇

A topped iron is often a low-point problem — and what your body does through impact can be a big part of it.

Three things to check:

🏌️ 1. Losing your forward tilt
Standing up too early can raise the club and make consistent contact harder.

🔄 2. Early extension
When your hips move toward the ball, you lose space and often compensate through impact.

⬇️ 3. Your strike is too shallow
With your irons, we generally want the club travelling downward through impact, with the low point occurring after the ball.

Try the tee drill from the post: place a tee 1–2 inches in front of the ball and practise striking the ball and then clipping the tee.

The goal? Ball first. Turf second. Better contact.

🎯 Still topping your irons and can’t figure out why? Stop guessing at your swing. Come down for a lesson and let’s identify what’s actually causing it.

Struggling with your chips? Duffing it? 😩

Good chipping doesn’t need to be complicated.

Get the setup right.
Control the low point.
Let the club do the work.

Master these basics and you’ll start getting cleaner contact, better distance control, and a lot more confidence around the greens. ⛳️

Stop wasting shots around the green — start turning those duffs into up-and-down opportunities.

You don’t always need more distance or a complete swing rebuild to shoot lower scores. ⛳️

A lot of shots are lost simply through poor decisions — hitting into trouble, taking on low-percentage hero shots, attacking every flag, or trying to force a shot that isn’t there.

Keep the ball in play. Choose smarter targets. Know when to attack and when to take your medicine.

Sometimes the quickest way to lower your scores isn’t making more birdies — it’s making fewer doubles and triples.

Fewer mistakes. Fewer big numbers. Better golf. 🧠🏌️‍♂️

Lower scores don’t always require a better swing. ⛳️

Better course management means choosing smarter targets, avoiding big numbers, and knowing when not to attack the flag.

Play smarter. Miss smarter. Score better. 🧠🏌️‍♂️

📊 Pelvis Sway = Better Compression

Using Sportsbox.ai, we can measure how the pelvis shifts during the golf swing.

Getting positive pelvis sway toward the target in the downswing helps move pressure forward, promotes a more forward low point and puts you in a better position to compress the ball at impact. 💥

Shift forward. Strike down. Compress it. ⛳️

Here’s a caption that keeps it educational but still works well for Instagram:

📊 What does your chest bend tell you about your golf swing?

Using Sportsbox.ai 3D data, we can measure exactly how the body moves throughout the swing — and one important value I look at is chest bend.

Chest bend describes how much your upper body is bending forward or backward at different points of the swing.

Why does it matter? 👇

Maintaining the appropriate amount of chest bend through impact can help you:

✅ Stay in your posture
✅ Create space for the arms and club
✅ Control your low point more consistently
✅ Deliver the club more efficiently
✅ Produce cleaner, more centred contact

When chest bend changes too early, the body can stand up through impact. This often forces the hands and arms to compensate just to get the club back to the ball.

The goal isn’t to chase a “perfect number.” Sportsbox.ai data gives us a measurable reference to understand how your body is moving and where we can make improvements.

Better body movement ➡️ Better club delivery ➡️ Better ball striking. ⛳️

Still fighting that slice? 🏌️‍♂️➡️

A slice usually isn’t caused by just one thing. Your grip, clubface, swing path, setup and body rotation all work together to influence where the ball goes.

Swipe through this 10-step guide and check your swing one step at a time. 👉

Focus on:
✅ A stronger, more neutral grip
✅ Squaring the clubface
✅ A smoother takeaway
✅ Avoiding the over-the-top move
✅ Rotating through impact
✅ Finishing high and balanced

Small adjustments can make a big difference. Don’t try to fix everything at once—work on one change, hit a few balls, then reassess.

Hooking the ball doesn’t always mean you need to “stop releasing” the club. The key is understanding the relationship between your clubface and swing path.

Try the drill above and focus on a smoother, more controlled release.
