Hey friends! Just a reminder that we still have our Alaskan Cruise for May 2027 out there. We're still actively taking deposits for anyone looking to join our current group of 6 people (and growing). There's no deadline other than capacity. Alaskan cruises do tend to fill up and some of the solo options have already sold out. Registration for our Fall 2026 Season is now ACTIVE. Season 12 kicks off with a whole new logo and a whole new tagline courtesy of Mark and Eric, our 50/50 Queens: FUN - FRIENDS - FAMILY.

- Season Starts 9/10. 7:30pm, Thursdays.

- Season Ends 12/3.

- Charity Fundraiser on 12/10.

- $240 for the season ($20/week) due by Week 4.

OUT BOWLING ALASKAN CRUISE UPDATE

I’m super excited that we currently have 8 people signed up for the cruise! But, we still have room for more! In fact, the more the merrier! We’re finalizing details now to take deposits by 8/1. If you can’t place a deposit by 8/1, that’s OK too, we’re really just dealing with availability and dynamic pricing, but let’s talk. Pricing details: while the cruise is using dynamic pricing, the cruise cost on this Virgin Voyages cruise for May 2027 offers several options depending on what type of cabin you’re looking to book:

- Insider Cabin (2 people): $1806 (non-refundable rate) to $3150 (premium fare rate) per cabin.
- Sea View (port hole, 2 people): $2368 (non-refundable rate) to $4130 (premium fare rate) per cabin.
- Sea Terrace (balcony, 2 people): $3206 (non-refundable rate) to $4480 (premium fare rate) per cabin.
- Solo Cabins are also available: Insider (starting at $1910), Sea View (starting at $2242). No solo options available for sea terrace.

In addition, there will be a pre-cruise hotel stay so you can arrive the night before, estimated to be about $300. Travel insurance will be discussed once we get the cruise itself booked. Flights will be booked on your own, but we’ll discuss arrangements on those once the cruise is booked.

Out! Bowling is doing something completely different. While at Naper Pride’s resource fair, a discussion was had with our president, Ed Dunne and Board Member, Mike Consalvo, about how fun a group Alaskan Cruise would be as members of our league (and group-adjacent) and it was decided that we're going to try to arrange something for May of 2027.

So Out Bowling (LGBTQ Bowling League) is going on an Alaskan Cruise in 2027! Organized by league founder and professional travel agent, Casey Wooley.

We're still gathering interest from those who might want to attend, but the cruise is open to any member of Out Bowling (LGBTQ Bowling League) (or the broader LGBTQ community - include Naper Pride members) and their family (adults only).

Estimated Cost for the 8 nights, 9-Day excursion start at $326/person/night including flights, pre-cruise hotel stay, accommodations aboard the Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady, and optional travel insurance.
