That is a wrap on the ATA Worlds 2026 event for Albany ATA! Congratulations to all of our competitors who got out there. Seeing our students cheering on friends, volunteering their time judging and scorekeeping, and doing their best was inspirational. Whether you're bringing home medals or not, remember... Congratulations, Mrs Pleu, on a well deserved WORLD CHAMPION title in Traditional Weapons! We are so proud of your determination and hard work. Every single lady in this division is an inspiration. Their support of one another and the joy they share in each other's successes are exactly what tournaments are about!

Also... How often do people get to say their daughter presented them with their 1st place medal in the Tournament of Champions? Master Pleu was lucky enough to have a front row view while filling in as score keeper and was allowed to present her mom with her medal.

It's officially summer at Albany ATA! Students are now allowed to wear their ATA or plain white t-shirts to class throughout summer break. Make sure to bring water to class, too!!
