Just before out first camp Haley Streitberger a student of 13 years straight was awarded her junior instructor patch.

Haley started at 2 years of age and has never stopped improving.

Haley assisted with all three camps, providing leadership, instruction, inspiration and displaying was true dedication is and the benefits it brings.

At 15 she has matured into a role model for the younger students on who they want to become. “The example”.

Her father Nolan Streitberger 21 years, is working on his 4th dan and mother Rachel Streitberger 22 years, a chief instructor just became the 2nd in the history of the school to reach 5th dan.

Haley has been also training with fi****ms unit. As a sophomore at WAHS an editor for the year book and following in her dad’s footsteps in photography.

All three serve as examples and a huge part in the schools 36 year history.

Thank you Haley for continuing to set the bar.

This is why we train and work on refining our skills.

Sometimes classes are small. Really small. Especially during camp week and 98• outside. These 3 showed up to get a nice “light” (by our standards) class in with a nice warm up, stretching, and some forms training with one of our forms instructors.

Just because class is small, or the majority of class are black belts/upper belts doesn’t mean there isn’t still something to learn. We should always strive to learn!
