🏐 Countdown to Tryouts: What You Need to Know 🗓️
Tryouts for the 2026-2027 NM Cactus Volleyball Club season are coming soon. Mark your calendars — mid July is the time to show your skills and join the team!
Here’s what to expect:
- Tryout Dates: July 15th to July 24th, divided by age groups.
- Location: NM Cactus Volleyball Club facility.
- Fee: $35 per athlete.
During tryouts, athletes will be evaluated on key volleyball skills like passing, setting, hitting, serving, and defense. We’ll also test vertical jump, speed, and agility. Expect both individual and team play assessments.
A parent meeting will be held before tryouts to answer any questions. Please note, tryouts themselves are closed to parents to help athletes focus fully.
Preparing in advance helps. Practice your fundamentals, work on your fitness, and get ready to show your best.

🏐 NM Cactus Volleyball Club has been building strong athletes for 19 seasons. Our focus goes beyond the court — we teach discipline, sportsmanship, and confidence to girls ages 8-18 in Albuquerque and nearby communities. 🌟
In a safe, fun environment, our players learn skills that help them succeed in volleyball and in life. From making school teams to earning college spots, we've supported 36 athletes on their journey to higher levels.
