How hot will it be this week???

Keeping campers safe is our top priority! This week we're beating the heat with:
💙 Frequent water breaks
🌳 Plenty of shade & indoor cool-downs
🧢 Adjusted activities during peak heat
👀 Staff trained to recognize and respond to heat illness

Families can help by sending a labeled water bottle, dressing campers in lightweight clothing, and applying sunscreen before camp.

Here's to a safe, fun, and cool summer! ☀️💚

We take time to recognize this important moment in our nation's history and celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of Black Americans that continue to strengthen our communities and enrich our shared experience.

This Saturday, June 20th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, be among the first to experience YMCA Silver Spring's brand-new dedicated pickleball courts!

Join us for an exciting morning of pickleball, community, and fun as we officially unveil our newest courts and celebrate the growth of pickleball in the region! We'll even enjoy a visit from the JOOLA Pops Mobile Tour with paddle demos and free popsicle treats.
