Good news! The 4–5 Flag Football division is still OPEN, and we still have spots available for registration!

If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time to get your player registered for the fall season.

🏓 Pickleball Tournament Notice 🏓

Please note that Courts 1, 2, and 3 will be reserved for the JB Productions Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, August 8, beginning in the morning.

For those planning to play recreationally, Courts 4, 5, and 6 will remain open for public use.

📍 Court Layout:

* West side: Courts 1, 2, and 3 (Tournament Courts)
* East side: Courts 4, 5, and 6 (Open Play)

Please note that this tournament is not hosted by the Andrews County Rec Center. We are simply notifying the community that Courts 1, 2, and 3 will be reserved during the event.

A big thank you to Waste Control Specialist for providing the Domino’s Pizza, and La Hacienda and Stripe Kings Lawn Service for providing the drinks. We appreciate their continued support in making these summer events possible for our community.

📍 Tryouts are TODAY (Monday, August 3rd)!
🏈 6–8 Division
🏈 9 & Up Division

⏰ Registration closes tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th! If you haven’t registered yet, be sure to do so before the deadline.

We are also still looking for:
✅ 1 volunteer coach for the 4–5 Flag Football division
✅ 1 volunteer coach for Cheer

Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to participate, and we need your help to make that happen. If you’re interested in coaching, please contact the Andrews County Rec Center today.

🏈 Flag Football Registration Update 🏈

We have some great news!

✅ 9–11 Flag Football registration is BACK OPEN! We are still looking for one more coach for this division, so if you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to have you.

✅ 6–8 Flag Football registration is OPEN and ready for players to sign up!

⏸️ 4–5 Flag Football registration remains temporarily frozen as we continue searching for at least two more volunteer coaches. Once we have enough coaches, we’ll reopen registration so every child has the opportunity to play.

📣 Cheer registration is also still in need of volunteer coaches before we can fully open those divisions.

Our goal is to make sure every child who wants to participate gets the chance to play. If you’ve ever considered coaching, now is the perfect time to step up and make a difference in a young athlete’s life.

Our goal is simple: we don’t want to leave any child on the sidelines because we don’t have enough coaches. Every team needs a coach before we can place athletes and keep registration moving.

If you’ve ever thought about coaching, now is the perfect time to step up and make a difference. No matter your experience level, we’ll help you get started.

We would love to open registration for all athletes who want to participate, but we need additional coaches before we can do so.

We are also looking for a few more coaches in the 4–5 Flag Football division.

If you’re interested in coaching or would like more information, please contact the Andrews County Rec Center as soon as possible. Your willingness to volunteer helps make these programs possible for our kids!
