Most people see the trophies, checkered flags, and podium photos.

What they don't see are the late nights in the garage, the endless notebook pages, the setup changes, the scaling sessions, and the countless small adjustments made in pursuit of one more tenth of a second.

Last night, Landon "Lightning" Boldt ⚡️ strapped into the #16 while we dial in every detail for Maxxis Race #2 at Newton Kart Klub.

Because race day isn't where winners are made—it's where all the preparation gets tested.

The scales don't lie. The stopwatch doesn't care. The details matter.

It was another beautiful day at Little Buckaroo Jr Motorsports Park yesterday ☀️ There was a lower kart count in our class, but we are hoping it increases over the summer 🤞

🏁 Road America Race Night Recap 🏁

A much better night for Boldt Racing at Road America! 👏

🏎️ 11 karts 📍 Qualified P5

Heat 1: Started P5 ➡️ Ran P3 for a bit ➡️ Finished P4 ⚡️

Heat 2: Started P4 and raced in P2 for the entire race... until the VERY last second (see picture 😅), ending with a solid P3 finish! 👏

🏁 Feature: We struggled all night to find speed in one particular section of the track. Starting P4 outside, Landon unfortunately got shuffled back on Lap 1 when multiple karts were able to make passes in that spot. He kept digging, raced hard every lap, and brought it home in P7.

Not the finish we were hoping for after such a strong start to the day, but we're proud of the effort, the determination, and most importantly, no spins!

Considering last week's adventures, this feels like a huge win! 💪
