Heritage Farms Equestrian

Excellent riding was the name of the game today! My girls came to play! Both riders took home champion, one in the Equitation and one in the Hunters. Incredibly proud of my girls, with or without the ribbons. They have been at it at home, showing up and working hard. 💪 today it was so fun to watch them put it all on the table. Go team! Way to go Ayla Josal and Mimi! Rose Rivett

Lake Washington Saddle Club did not disappoint for the Hunter/Eq crew on Sunday!
The weather held out for us, the horses were super..
Ayla and Fleur had great rounds in the Equitation, earning the team Reserve Champion.
Mimi and Fable (aka Kit) clenched some top placings, we missed one fence and didnt make it to the flat, otherwise Hunter champion would have been theirs all the way!
Kit the human..lol brought along her young ottb to solidify the rules of horse showing and jumping off property. Sometimes these young ones just need a bunch of solid ring time, to teach them how to horse.. appropriately, no bucking or playing...WAFFLES.... Kit did an excellent job schooling him and laying it down so he tows the line like a good boy should. Judge Rob was very gracious, as was the rest of the ring crew, fellow trainers and competitors to allow Kit and Waffles to get that much needed time and everyone was so supportive of my little rider. Bringing along young ones yourself, is a tough job. I admire Kit for wanting to take it on, and get it done herself (with coaching ofc)
