A couple of Heritage Farms beauties out there enjoying the property after an excellent hack.

This weekend 4 of our riders were accepted into the Refine your Ride clinic with Julia Kubicek. Put on by the always lovely, Sarah Hallman-Luhn on behalf of WSHJA. Lake Washington Saddle Club provided a perfect place for knowledge from an incredible horsewoman to be passed on to the up and coming generations of our sport. My girls are all aboard newish mounts (acquired in the last 6 months) and they are still a little tentative getting to know their partners in different situations and outings. I am (really, as always..right?) So super proud of all of my kids. Everyone showed up, put their faith in a stranger that everyone saaaays...is really cool? (P.s. everyone is right) and had a blast. Julia was kind, passionate, thoughtful, complimentary (my favorite) and most of all helped each one of those kids gain more confidence and knowledge. My kids had FUN. So. Much. Fun. Big big thank you Lake Washington Saddle Club, Sarah, and Julia for making this such a wonderful weekend of learning. Pat those ponies!!!

Tbird was a hit this show! My girls all had major improvements in the ring. Came home with a champion in the .90's, blues in the little hunters, and top placings in the .85 jumpers. Really fun watching my kids start to put it all together and get competitive!

These three have been killing it in their Saturday group lesson. I've got a couple of equitation stars and a jumper whose got the need for speed and inside turns. My hands are full, but my goodness do I beam with pride watching these three navigate their goals and play giddy barn girls all at the same time.
