The Renegades had a blast in the rain and mud at Asheville Rugby Football Club Beer City 7’s! Coach Diego José Lussich has been drilling the boys hard on defensive structure all summer, and we were scoreless defensively going into the final. We’re proud of our boys for implementing all that we’ve been practicing on both sides of the ball. We can’t wait to continue putting our skills to the test later this month at Hotlanta 7's Shoutout to Billy Miller for earning MVP of the tournament for his stout defense and unrelenting pressure around breakdowns. Onwards and upwards!

NEW COACH ALERT ‼️ With sevens season almost upon us, we are adding a new coach to our ranks. .lussich will be leading us into battle throughout our summer sevens season! Diego is a seasoned rugby player, having played both club and national/international level rugby. He is a former Renegade, and also played for his home country club of Uruguay - with selections to his national team for sevens. Diego has a passion for growing the sport and developing players, and absolutely loves sevens! The Renegades are excited to see what he can help us cook up throughout our sevens season 💪🏻 Keep your eyes peeled for tournament announcements we will be attending this summer. Shout out to Chip Biggers and for carrying the torch this last year and putting loads of work in behind the scenes to get us back on track when the future of the club was uncertain. Now let’s go win some tournaments!
