The Zilker Relays is a 10 mile event. Teams are comprised of 4 runners, each running approximately 2.5 mile loops from one central festival/transition area. The team concept of the Zilker Relays is not unique, but the combination of a relay, festival home base, drinks and music, make this experience a favorite for runners of all calibers and ages. You don't have to train like a marathoner for this one. All you have to do is be willing to run/jog/walk/stroll 2.5" miles, enjoy live music and great food and get 3 of your siblings/kids/buddies/colleagues to come join you for this one of a kind running experience.

Also put on by Austin Runners Club, Daisy Dash celebrates the female movement and the women and girls who keep moving our community forward.

For the second year in a row, the City of Austin showed up BIG at Zilker Relays!

With more than 30 teams each year, the City of Austin has been our largest group at the Relays two years running.

We love seeing coworkers turn into teammates for a night and so many people from across the City come together for a completely different kind of Friday evening in Zilker Park.

Turns out the people who keep Austin running also really like running Austin.
