Unofficial: Red Baron Racing

Brought her home from the Garage Shop in North Carolina. They fabricated an aluminum scoop for me and pulled my transmission so Advanced Racing Transmissions could rebuild it better than before.

Ran the valves and used the LSM valve lash adjuster for the first time. Pretty nice Also changed the oil, which looked pretty good.

Going to Moparty in Bowling Green KY in a few weeks to race then Maryland International Raceway for Modern Street Hemi Shootout in October. I'm pretty sure I'll beat my old PB of 8.21@161MPH🤞

Pulled TH400 to fix a small leak after 20 passes on new transmission and Brian at Advanced Racing Transmissions found the leak and a bent stock main shaft, stockish clutches, which were already worn through and damaged bushings resulting in a ton of metal in the pan.

New clutches, a 300M main shaft and some new bushings and she should be good as new. Might even free up some horsepower.

Beautiful work on a new scoop by The Garage Shop. They do a lot of high-speed Bonneville cars and I just found out they are restoring Ricky Bobby's NASCAR movie car. If you ain't first you're last😁

Scoped out the local dragstrip a week ago. DA was like 3200' with 80 degree weather. I will have to try out the brand new track surface soon

Nice shop! Saw them on YouTube while still in California and happened to have business in the area so asked them if they could make me an aluminum scoop for the Red Baron. They work on land speed cars so they understand aerodynamics.

I feel like a c**k. I carelessly posted some photos here of a car build that was not my own without asking the owner's permission. I was very excited to see the car but have caused some good people trouble, which I regret. I will do better in the future
