New series alert πŸ”₯ Every Wednesday, watch for the Exercise of the Day, where we break down one move to help you train smarter and move better.

Today’s move: Dumbbell Reverse Lunge

Your reverse lunge should feel controlled, strong, and intentional, whether you’re using dumbbells or just your bodyweight.

This move is about more than stepping back. It trains single-leg strength, balance, control, and the kind of movement quality that carries into everything you do.

A few cues to lock in:
πŸ”Ή Keep most of your weight in the front leg
πŸ”Ή Think 80/20, with only light support from the back leg
πŸ”Ή Drive up through the front leg, not the back foot
πŸ”Ή Lower and stand with control, no rushing the reps

No dumbbells? Same cues still apply. Master the movement first, then add load when you’re ready.

Train smarter by making every rep count. Save this for your next lower-body day and ask your coach to check your form during workouts.

New series alert: Exercise of the Day πŸ”₯

Today’s move: the dumbbell step-up.

This one may look simple, but the details matter. Drive through the leg on the bench, stand tall at the top, then lower back down with control. Both feet should return to the floor before starting your next rep.

The biggest thing to avoid? Bouncing off the back foot.
That small cheat takes work away from the lead leg, which is exactly where you want the strength to build.

Save this for your next lower body day and focus on control over speed. Strong reps > rushed reps. πŸ’ͺ
