BEAT Summer Slide and register for summer today! ☀️

The term “Summer Slide” refers to the distinct learning loss that students can experience when out of school for the summer. “A regression in academic proficiency due to summer break, experts warn it hinders kids’ progress when they head back to school.” (Scholastic)

Dancers also experience Summer Slide when they don’t participate in dance-related activities over the summer! Make sure your dancers continue to build on the skills they worked so hard to learn during the school-year session by enrolling them in one of our classes or camps this summer. We are offering six weeks of classes and five weeks of camps this summer, lots of options for everyone! We look forward to continuing your child’s dance education this summer!

We had the absolute best time celebrating with you and your amazing dancers at our Spring Show this past weekend! 👏👏👏

The energy was completely unmatched, and every single dancer blew us away with their incredible skills and positive attitudes. A massive thank you to our dance parents for getting everyone prepared, costumed, and ready for photo week, dress rehearsals, and the big showcase. We know how much effort goes on behind the scenes and are so grateful for your unmatched support! Your dedication showed through in every single performance!

My favorite memory at Backstage was definitely fumbling lifts and being able to dance together with my friend Shivali in contemporary.

Outside of dance, I love reading and baking.

My favorite song is North Star by Searows, because I love the message. It’s a song about always being there for someone and always having someone on your side, plus it sounds pretty.
