I57 Dragstrip

***ATTENTION TEAM FINALS RACERS. UPDATED DATES***

Races, in discussion with a few tracks that were attending, and also racers that had already scheduled vacations and family plans. We had decided it be best to just go back to the original October dates. We will be hosting a 6 team finals at I57 October 15-17th.
I’m hoping this allows all tracks and racers to attend. I truly apologize for any confusion. We were simply trying to get a second “rain date” in there, the original Oct date gives us no shot as it’s one week from the world finals.
Take it easy on me boys on the comments, just trying to be the best we can for you.

Well, with a ton of calls, messages and emails we have an announcement.

October 15th-17th, I57 Dragstrip will host a team finals for our local tracks.
We have 6 confirmed tracks attending with a 40 car per team and estimated 240 cars total. I57, Beacon, Sikeston, Bonne Terre and New Port have all confirmed.
In light of all the craziness this will allow our local teams to save on travel costs and we have confirmed winners will be able to attend the world finals if they choose. 😁
We look forward to putting on an amazing team finals. I will have more info coming next week regarding Entry fees, Spectator/Crew fees and overall race structure.

I57 racers directly I will also post up on how we will be selecting our participants next week as well to keep everything fair for all.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✅ 17 years or older
✅ Able to work Fridays & Saturdays, with the occasional Sunday
✅ Able to work well under pressure
✅ Comfortable working the grill and fryers
✅ Flexible with hours — some nights could go well into the night! 🌙

What a day at I57 Dragstrip !!!!

Our 5th annual Kyle Ellis Memorial Race was nothing short of amazing!!!
187 of you lined up first round. We put almost 500 laps down track today based on our counter. 28 of you vying for 16 spots in the Quick Class. Jr Dragsters laying fierce laps and our little track was absolutely packed with cars, fans and crew !!! You all made our day !!!
When the dust settled. It was Connor Meadows taking the Jr Dragster title, Quinton Adam’s cashing in on the Pro category and Jimmy Terhune brings home the big payday in Super Pro. Derek Pearson wins the Quick 8 Door car and Colby Fraiser runs the field for the Quick 16 win.
From the Ellis family and myself, thank you all for showing up, placing a smile and a few small tears on our faces…..as today We Raced for Kyle !!!!
