🏀 THROWBACK THURSDAY 🏀
We’re kicking off a new weekly series highlighting the people who have left their mark on the game of basketball, with ties to the great state of Alabama.
From playing and coaching at the collegiate level to leading Alabama Basketball and making an impact throughout the SEC and beyond, CM Newton’s influence on basketball in Alabama is undeniable. His career is a reminder that the game is bigger than what happens between the lines. It’s about the people who build programs, develop players, and leave the game better than they found it.
Every Thursday, we’ll take a look back at another name, story, or moment that helped shape basketball in Alabama.
