Congratulations to Head Over Heels Gymnastics for being recognized as an Advocacy Ambassador by Down Syndrome Alabama. Head Over Heels Gym, nominated by Anna Ruth McCalley, said, "The staff at Head Over Heels has dedicated Fridays to the HUGS gymnastics team, where several of the gymnasts have Down syndrome. They provide encouragement and cheer these girls on, while challenging them to do hard things! The coaches really take time to get to know the girls and meet their individual needs. As the girls improve, they introduce new skills and literally raise the bar to make them better and make them see they can do it! One of the coaches took notice of Frances’ skill and strong drive to be a gymnast and arranged for additional gym time. We are so grateful for HOH!"
