‼️ THEY DID ME DIRTY‼️
I’ve been holding back on sharing what I’ve been doing with our bowhunting program because I knew a bigger story was coming.
I was beyond excited, but when The Washington Post published the piece, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed and frustrated.
I’m not here to call anyone out. Everyone who contributed has played a role in this program, and I’m grateful for that! But credit should go where credit is due—and to the right people.
Big publication, big story… funny how the picture can still come out incomplete. 🤷♂️🔥
I’ve poured my heart, sweat, blood, tears, time, and hard work into this program. It’s about more than teaching young people to hunt. It’s about the lessons, growth, and self-discovery that happen along the way. It’s not about the harvest; it’s about the journey that gets you there.
I know my worth, and I stand firmly behind the work I’ve put in. This isn’t about chasing fame or ego. It’s about fairness, respect, and recognizing the people behind the work.
To everyone who has reached out, shown support, and reminded me that the work speaks for itself—THANK YOU. Your support means more than you know!
And a huge shoutout to Carolina Yang, an incredibly talented Minnesota reporter. You’re an amazing individual, and I’m so grateful for you!
I’ll keep doing what I love, standing behind my work, and opening doors for the next generation.
Stay in tune for more updates!!!
STAY HUMBLE. KNOW YOUR WORTH. STAY DANGEROUS. 🤘🏹🔥
Members of the Al Tabee’ah Adventure Club, sponsored by a Minneapolis mosque, must complete months of rigorous training before they are allowed to hunt deer.
