Spring Lake Park Panthers Basketball Club

Panther youth basketball is organized in three tiers: Rec League and Traveling, which are run by SLPPBC and School Basketball, which is run by District #16. Basketball Options:

•K-1 Panther Basketball
•Panther In-house League for Boys and Girls Grades 2-6
•Panther Traveling Program for Boys and Girls Grades 4-8
•Spring Lake Park School Ball Options for Boys and Girls Grades 7-12

This May, we expect to appoint 4+ new members to our Youth Basketball Board, which currently includes 14 dedicated volunteers. The official call for applications will open in April, inviting interested parents to apply for one of the available positions.
To help us plan and understand the level of interest, please take a moment to complete the short survey linked here. It includes just a few quick questions and is a great first step if you’re considering getting involved.
Serving on the Youth Basketball Board has been a truly rewarding experience for all of us. If you’re passionate about supporting kids, building community, and growing the game, this is a wonderful opportunity to make an impact.

WOW! This 6th Grade Blue Team gave it their all right up until the final buzzer. It was a great game on both sides of the ball, and they finished with an impressive 2nd place finish!

They faced tough competition all tournament weekend, and each game they showed up ready to compete and give everything they had. Their effort, teamwork, and focus were on full display.

We wish you the best of luck this weekend at Great State! Continue representing Spring Lake Park with pride and confidence.

The 4th Grade Blue Team hit the road and headed to Rochester for their final tournament of the season!

They battled through tough competition all weekend, kept their heads in the game, moved the ball to create scoring opportunities, and played strong, relentless defense. Their hard work paid off with an impressive 3rd place finish!

Beyond the court, the team made some great memories from pool time to team meals and just hanging out at the gym. Moments like these are what make the season so special.

Way to represent Spring Lake Park on the road! We are proud of how you competed every step of the way. Keep up with your reps and skills training during the offseason. Next season will be here before you know it!

Congratulations to our 4th Grade Red Team on an incredible 3rd place finish at the Boys Border Battle Tournament!

Playing one athlete short all weekend, the team showed resilience, kept a positive mindset, and brought the energy every single game. That determination and teamwork made all the difference and helped bring home the win!

What a great way to close out the season. Keep putting in the work during the offseason as we know basketball will be back before we know it!

Before their final tournament of the season, this 3rd Grade Blue Team took some time for team bonding and went to see The Goat. It’s a great reminder that it’s not only about what happens on the court, but also the friendships and memories made off of it.

Congratulations on earning 2nd place at the Mounds View Boys Classic Tournament as you wrap up your first travel season. We hope each of you learned new skills, grew your game, and had a whole lot of fun along the way.

The hard work on and off the court has truly paid off for the 4th Grade Girls Blue Team. They brought home the championship at the Blaine Girls Basketball Invitational this past weekend, a perfect way to close out the regular season before heading into the Gopher State Girls Tournament in the top tier.

The leadership of the coaches and the dedication of these players shine through in everything this team has accomplished. We wish you the best of luck at State!
