The Basin Gravity Park and summer activities, including the Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, Scenic Chairlift rides, Explorer Base Camp, and more will be open from 11 am to 7 pm Wednesday – Sunday through Labor Day weekend.

Guided Nature Program – Birding at Bogus Basin Join Terry Rich, a local ornithologist, for a birding experience at Bogus Basin! This will be an easy introduction to the many birds around mountain.

Have you ever seen a hummingbird up close? Watch trained biologists catch, band, measure, and release hummingbirds back into the wild during a Hummingbird Banding Session!

Hummingbird Banding events with the Intermountain Bird Observatory team happen every other Monday through August 24th. Pre-registration is required. 🪶

Hummingbird Banding Back for the third summer in a row – Hummingbird Banding with the Intermountain Bird Observatory crew! Trained biologists will be banding, measuring, and releasing wild hummingbirds as part of our monitoring research. Come see them up close and learn about hummingbird conservation and research.

Exciting news from the US Forest Service 🌲 The temporary Bogus Basin Road closures, originally set to run through June 19th, have been lifted early!

Trail closures are in effect through August 14th ⚠️ Sections of the Stack Rock, Sweet Connie, Mr. Big, Eastside, and Sinker Creek trails will be closed weekly, beginning Monday at 6 am and ending Friday at 6 pm.

Deer Point Stewardship Project 2026 The US Forest Service plans to begin the second season of the four-year Deer Point Stewardship Project, a forest-wide effort that includes hazardous tree removal and forest health improvements, on April 27th, 2026.
