🇯🇵🥋 A special visit from Japan! We were incredibly honored to welcome guest Sensei .sports all the way from Japan to Front Range Judo!
He was in town for a seminar but wanted to get some Judo on the mats while he was here, and we were lucky enough to have him join us for several classes.
He didn’t just bring his knowledge and experience, but also some special gifts and trinkets from Japan for our Juniors and Mini Samurai, making the experience even more memorable for our younger students. He got right on the mat with them, shared his knowledge, and brought a little piece of Japanese Judo culture into our dojo.
He also joined us for several adult classes, sharing some of his favorite techniques and giving us a firsthand look at the beauty, precision, intensity, and ferocity of Japanese Judo.
There is something truly special about sharing the mat with someone who brings a different perspective, experience, and passion for this art. These are the kinds of experiences that remind us that Judo is so much bigger than any one dojo. It’s a worldwide community built on respect, learning, and a shared love for the sport.
Thank you for visiting us, sharing your knowledge, and making such a lasting impression on our students and coaches. Our doors and our mats are always open! 🙏
Judo Spirit! 🥋🇯🇵
