RDM Studio offers Odissi dance lessons to kids, teens & adults. Full range of programs offered. Clear, precise instructions are given both inperson and online.

Nilanjana Banerjee uses her years of stage experience to teach students of different ages and skill sets. The dance is broken down systematically into easy to understand steps. Students have access to an online library with hundreds of learning videos. This dance also proves to be a fun meditative space for adults with focus on body conditioning. Stage opportunities given to each student to explore their creativity and potential as a dancer.

the British banned this dance.
the women who kept it alive were publicly shamed. called immoral. erased from respectable society.
they danced anyway.

that’s why Odissi exists today. because a few women refused to let 2000 years of devotion disappear.
every time I dance, I’m dancing for them too. 🙏
