📢 EDDY COUNTY SHERIFF'S POSST BOARD AND MEMBER MEETING POSTPONED

The regularly scheduled Monthly Board & Member Meeting for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, has been POSTPONED, due to a lack of quorum of Board Members.

📅 A rescheduled meeting date later in August is currently pending and will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

The Eddy County Jr Posse Playdays will be resuming from their summer break in September, and finishing the season with awards in October….the end of year awards have already begun arriving and they are GORGEOUS!!!
We have been watching these kids progress during their summer Jr Rodeo seasons and we cannot wait to see how they come back better than ever!!!

We are so very blessed to be part of such a great community. And yesterday I was so proud to have the opportunity to make a positive first horseback riding experience for a beautiful young lady who has given so much to our community.

It's hard to believe we're already saying goodbye to Hanli!

Since January 2025, Hanli has been such a special part of our United Way of Eddy County team. Whether she was helping at events, jumping in wherever we needed her, or making us laugh around the office, she was always ready to help with a smile.
Now she's off to start an exciting new chapter as she heads to college, and while we're so excited for everything that's ahead of her, we're definitely going to miss having her around.

As our goodbye gift, Hanli mentioned to us a while back that she had always wanted to ride a horse, so we decided to make it happen! A huge thank you to Jenny Duncan Rennie for making this experience so special, and of course to Rogue for being the sweetest horse and giving Hanli a memory she'll never forget.

Thank you for everything you've done for our team and our community, Hanli. We're so proud of you and can't wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish!
