*Things I used to think mattered... that I barely think about anymore*
When I first got into fitness, I thought *every* *little* thing mattered.
I worried about:
ā Missing a workout
ā Eating dessert
ā Not knowing how to track soemthing perfectly
ā Going on vacation
ā The scale being up 2 pounds
ā Not being āsore enoughā
ā Having an āoffā week
ā Eating at a restaurant
ā Taking a rest day
Now?
I barely think about any of those things
(and hoenstly feel bad for past rhi cus WOW i made life so much harder than it needed to be).
Iāve been in what is probably the busiest social season of my adult life.
Between travel, weddings, dinners, weekends away, bachelorette parties, hsoting friends, family events, and everything in between, past me would have been convinced I was sabotaging my goals.
Current me?
Absolutely chilling.
Because after years of my own journey and nearly a decade of coaching, Iāve learned that progress isnāt built by avoiding real life.
Itās built by learning how to navigate it.
What I care about now is actually pretty boring:
ā
Training consistently for years, not weeks
ā
Eating mainly whole foods (but not JUST, have fun ones in the mix too)
ā
Getting enough sleep
ā
Managing stress (whew, this was a big one as a biz owner)
ā
Showing up even when motivation isnāt there (cus its sure not always!!)
Most people struggle with LIFELONG health and fitness because theyāre treating completely normal parts of life as if theyāre setbacks.
A restaurant meal isnāt a problem.
A missed workout isnāt a problem.
A vacation isnāt a problem.
ā¼ļøLife is supposed to include those thingsā¼ļø
The people who get the best results arenāt usually the most perfect.
Theyāre the ones who stop panicking every time life happens.
BOOM. Mic drop.

And my birthday wish of being somewhere warm where I could lay out was granted! lol wkd getaway to the Bahamas with the hubs felt so so good.
Felt so good to unplug a bit but went way too fast and already back to reality š
but feeling so so so grateful.

Lately Iāve been thinking about one more in a very different way.
Not as āpush harder.ā
Not as ādo more.ā
But as donāt quit at the first sign of discomfort.
One more honest check-in.
One more rep done with focus instead of rushing.
One more aligned meal.
One more day of staying engaged instead of mentally checking out because itās not perfect.
Most people donāt fail because they didnāt do enough.
They stop because they disengage too early.
Progress usually lives just past the point where it stops being exciting and starts being boring.. repetitive.. where it would be easier to say 'i've earned a treat'
Thatās the part thats undervalued.
But thatās the part that works.

I started Rhidiculous Fitness & Nutrition because I was tired of seeing smart, capable women blame themselves for plans that were never built for real life.
Iāve always loved the science.
The physiology.
Understanding how the body actually adapts to training and nutrition.
But what made me start RFN wasnāt just education.
It was watching women do everything right on paper and still feel frustrated, stuck, or exhausted.
Too much pressure.
Too many rules.
Not enough context.
RFN was built to be different.
We focus on:
⢠Training that respects biomechanics and recovery
⢠Nutrition that supports performance, health, and sustainability
While still being systems that flex with real life instead of breaking the instant you get invited out to eat or have a social event.
I love this work because itās not about quick wins.
Itās about helping women build confidence in their decisions, trust in their bodies, and skills they keep long after coaching ends.
And the team i've built believes fully in this too.
We find fulfillment from truly transforming lives.
If youāre here, youāre not looking for extremes.
Youāre looking for something that actually makes sense.
And thatās exactly why RFN exists.
For you.
From us.
With true care and compassion.

Thereās something powerful about knowing what youāre buying and why.
Not because a label told you it was āgood.ā
Not because youāre following rules.
But because you understand how food fits into your life.
Nutrition gets a lot simpler when you stop outsourcing decisions
and start trusting your own judgment.
No drama.
No extremes.
Just choices you can stand behind and repeat.
This is what we teach each and every one of our clients at Rhidiculous Fitness and Nutrition.
True empowerment through nutritional education.
We help you learn the WHY behind what you're doing
So you not only get the results you want
But understand how and why
Ensuring it's something you keep the rest of your life.
That's the key.
Not blindly following another generic meal "plan" or only eating 'healthy' foods.
LASTING RESULTS REQUIRE UNDERSTANDING.

Health isnāt built in extremes; thinking progress has to come from doing more..
ā More restriction.
ā More intensity.
ā More pressure.
Itās built in the quiet, ordinary moments.
ā
Feeding yourself (enough, regularly)
ā
Listening to your body
Training in a way that's actually effective, that your body can actually adapt to.
ā
Allowing rest instead of constantly overriding fatigue.
Thatās enough.
Health usually improves when stress goes down, not up.
And yes, that includes mental stress around ādoing it right.ā
And it adds up more than you think.
