One of the biggest lies I hear is:
*”God could never use someone like me.”*
But when you open your Bible, you see a completely different story.
God has always chosen imperfect people.
Not because of what they’ve done...
But because of what He can do through them.
Moses doubted.
David failed.
Peter denied Jesus.
Paul persecuted Christians.
Rahab had a past that many people would have thought disqualified her.
Yet God still called them.
So if you’re waiting until you “have it all together” before you believe God can use your life, you’ll be waiting forever.
God isn’t looking for perfect people.
He’s looking for willing hearts.
Your past may explain your story, but it doesn’t get the final word.
God does.

One of the hardest things you’ll have to learn is that letting go doesn’t mean you’re losing.
Sometimes letting go is how you show God you trust Him.
I’ve had people walk out of my life that I never expected to lose. At the time, it felt confusing and painful. I kept wondering what I could have done differently but looking back, I can see that God was teaching me something bigger.
Sometimes we pray for a new season while holding so tightly to the last one that there’s no room to receive what’s next.
Not every relationship is meant to last forever.
Not every season is meant to be permanent.
And sometimes the hardest act of faith isn’t chasing what’s next—it’s releasing what God is asking you to leave behind.
Because God can’t fill a space you’re afraid to let go of.

if you’re choosing to trust God with what you’re releasing.
This is something I’ve had to learn the hard way.
Just because someone doesn’t support you doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path.
Sometimes we expect the people closest to us to be our biggest cheerleaders. And when they aren’t, we start questioning ourselves, our calling, and even God.
But then I think about the Bible.
Joseph’s brothers betrayed him.
Jesus wasn’t understood by everyone around Him.
Job’s friends got it wrong.
And yet, God still fulfilled His purpose through them.
Maybe this is your reminder that not everyone is supposed to understand what God placed on your heart.
Don’t let a lack of support become a lack of obedience.
Keep going.
God’s approval matters more than people’s applause. 🤍
