Thanks to their generosity, this Saturday’s 8/15 swim night is FREE from 5:30–8:30 p.m. Come enjoy an evening at the pool with us!

With local air quality monitors showing an AQI below 150, AM swim lessons on 8/11 are a go. If anything changes, we will post as soon as possible.

Current forecasting is also looking encouraging for the AM swim session from 11am - 2pm.

The Cheney Aquatic Center will be opening at 11 am on 8/10 for open swim.

The Cheney Aquatic Center will not be open for morning activities due to the current unhealthy air quality on 8/10. We will reassess the status of afternoon and evening activities throughout the day.

The Cheney Aquatic Center is closed today due to unhealthy air quality.

While the air quality index has occasionally dipped below 150, the improvement has not been sustained long enough for us to safely and adequately prepare our staff and patrons for reopening.

We know this is disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the health and safety of our community. We’ll continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they become available.
