Chico Table Tennis Club We are a Table Tennis club We are a weekly table tennis club, but you don't need to "join" to play. Open Tuesdays: 6:00 pm-10:00 pm.

Just come try it, and if you like it, we know you'll be back for more. Check our FB page for updates! We offer 6 good tables, premium ping-pong balls, high ceilings, plenty of room to play, music, lots of fun people to hang out with, and up to 4 hrs. of "open play" table tennis every Tuesday. You can gain skill, muscles, brain stimulation, and aerobic exercise. You will move, sweat, learn, laugh, and connect with others. We welcome all levels of players: beginning, intermediate, and advanced..

$5 cash per night

Tomorrow is Pong, I mean Table Tennis! 🏓
"Pong" is a name that some find a menace.
One of those people, is someone we like!
He plays like a ninja with a fancy jackknife
He has played in our group for many a year
And brought his opponents to many a tear 💧😅
I'm talking bout David, the young prodigy.
He's been a regular in our TT colony.
And now he is moving to a different city
His last night's tomorrow, what a pity!
So, let's all come out to play with him and all say,
"Goodbye David, sad that you're going away!"
If you can, bring some food or something to drink.
And play table tennis with him until you stink! 🏓😂

Did you remember that it's Tuesday?
Time flew by and it's here again
Come help your body and help your brain
Those are only two of the benefits
It helps your mood, besides getting fit
And mood pretty much affects everything
Sooo, let's play Pong, come step in the ring!
At 6 we start, at 9 we end
Bring your mom, bring your friend
For $5 you can't do much these days
Let alone getting 3 hours of play
So come beat the heat and take advantage
Of this deal, if you can manage
We have all the stuff you need to play Pong
Except your friends, so have them come along!

Get on your shoes right after your socks
Cuz it's almost time to get up and go
To Ping Pong, where you will get in the flow
of backhand, forehand, chop, chop, and slam!
There's no other sport like this one, man!
So see you at 6, when the fun begins
You know you'll have losses and hopefully wins
And speaking of losses, just an F.Y.I.
This week a fellow ponger joined the place in the Sky.
So, Rest In Peace to the O.G. pongman, Roland
He started organized pong in Chico long ago and
helped me find a table tennis family
which led to me working at the PnP facility
It's a long, long story, which I will tell sometime
when we can properly honor this friend of mine.
But for now I'll just say that he was a great man
that affected my life since my ping pong "phase" began!

Where you can play anytime

Today is a high of seventy four
Makes me want to go out the door
And soak up all the rays of the sun
But I can't until my work is done
And then there's more work to get dinner
(Just a bit, so I'll be thinner)
And by the time the dinner's done
it will be time for Ping Pong fun!
6pm is when it starts,
Bring your bodies, bring your hearts
And play as long as your body lasts
Play everyone and have a blast!
The sun soaking can happen later
For now I'll choose the choice that's greater! 🏓

It's raining, so the place will be busy
Register now, don't be iffy
Chico Pickle & Pong is the place to be
You know it, but some still need to see
So bring your co-workers, bring your buds
Ping pong is for ALL, not just sporty studs
So far Jack, Jordan, Mike and Jake
have gone online to registrate
If you're not them, please go and do
the thing you know we want you to
and then we'll play all evening long
working up a sweat, playing Pong! 🏓

Remember when there was only ONE option
per week, to play Pong, the anti-toxin?
How lucky are we now to make selections?!
Play any day or time of your election!
Hopefully Tuesday will stay your main day,
but now you can add another play day
that fits your skills or social group, eh?
Or bring your partner for a Pong date!
Regardless of when you decide to play
You are part of the Chico Pong Family
and are invited to our big potluck social
I really hope you come or I'll be woeful
It's on Friday, April 3rd, at six
We will play, eat, and intermix
We'll set up the Monster Table
and have other fun games, if you are able
but the main thing is to build community
Without that, there's no opportunity
to build up our Pong group's unity
which has waned, if I'm speaking truthfully.

Hope to see you at 6, when "All Skills" play
And if you're advanced, consider addingThursdays
Intermediates can also play Fridays
Invite Beginners to play on Mondays
And Family folks can try Saturdays

That helps others know they won't be lonely
and ease their fears that they'll be the only
one showing up and feeling rather bland
